We had the best experience hands-down of any ER we have ever been to! This is not the first time we have visited Beaumont ER on college. We continue to use them because they are so amazing at what they do! From the time I drove into the parking lot until I drove out of the parking lot, I was comfortable, greeted with friendly knowledgeable care, the environment is super clean, the staff is so patient, caring, and Family oriented. They made sure that I was comfortable in the setting, that all of my needs were taken care of, and then I felt sure about the diagnosis and where to go from there. I 1000% recommend this place to anyone who needs urgent care services. I could go on, but I think you get the point. I will add, when I left, it had started to get dark and there was a parking lot security officer who made sure I even got to my car safely. If you weren't doing ER service like this, you're doing it wrong. Every single patient should feel like a VIP. read more

The level of care was subpar and the doctors are incompetent and inexperienced and they need to go back to school. Random people told me that these doctors out here in Beaumont are less qualified to be a doctor, I experienced the worse care there.i don't recommend that anyone go to this hospital or beaumont baptist if you are pregnant they don't know how to treat pregnant women! My dad and I took my mother here because was experiencing some pain in her back. The wait time was fast and the front desk clerk was so friendly and helpful. The nurses that came in were very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and answered all questions we had. Dr. Faulk (I believe) was very patience. Listened to our concerns and shared great information about what could possibly be the problem with my mother's back. They even made it convenient and easy to pay out of pocket. DONT GO IF YOU CAN AVOID. Took my kid for high fever that I wasn't able to control. In reception they were "fast" enough to help me out, but they didn't help me out at all! There thermometers DONT WORK, they don't use loop for rectal temp, nurses don't look like want to work, and they didn't have people there. Dr was good enough but not helpful in a way. this is for beaumont emergency hospital in beaumont. i went there after a wreck on 9/28/24. after 5 hours they come in to release me and said everything looked good post surgery. which i had in 2014. i broke my back in 4 places and have 18 inches of metal down my spine. but they are so professional that they couldn't even see the broken screw. so i went in to ask for a professional to read my xrays and or cat scan. because i know i have 1 broken screw. and per the fondren group the screws around the broken one are being pushed out. this is in 2022. i was threatened with the police because i was asking for my records be corrected. and that i have proof of the broken hardware and screws that are backing out. but they didn't like that i was just letting them know that the report i have is incorrect. i have xrays from 2022. i was also seen there in 2022. i have proof of that but was told that they dont have them . so i show them that i have medical records from the visit. again threatened with police being called. and i am in the middle of a lawsuit from 2022. but the hospital says they dont have any records from me being there i will provide videos and pictures. with the proof of the broken hardware in my back and proof that i was seen there in 2022. again this needs to be seen by the beaumont emergency hospital. read more

Visited Beaumont Emergency Hospital on 12/3/2023. CT scan was taken and based on results of CT, I was transferred to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital to have a surgical procedure performed the following day. The CD-RW disc containing the CT images sent with me to the hospital was not formatted correctly and could not be opened to view images at the hospital. My surgical procedure had to be rescheduled because the CT images were not available and doctors were unsure who should provide care for my case and how they should proceed per the medical records obtained from the hospital and discussions with the NP for the general surgeon and the urologist consulted for my case. I had to wait in the hospital for 2 days until it was decided to perform a MRI with contrast because the surgeons needed to know what they were dealing with so they could determine how to proceed. My surgical procedure was finally performed 3 days after I was admitted to the hospital, and I was released 2 days later. What should have only been a 3 day hospital stay with a surgical procedure ended up being a 5 day hospital stay including a MRI and surgical procedure. 4 days after being released from hospital, I requested my medical records including CT images from Beaumont Emergency Hospital I was told I would have to wait 12 to 24 hours to receive my records (Christus St. Elizabeth supplied everything in less than 15 minutes). I came back to Beaumont Emergency Hospital later that week (trip #2) to pick up my medical records and CT imaging CD. The CD-RW disc with my CT images that I received could not be opened on a computer to view the CT images AGAIN. I returned the next day (trip #3) to request a new CD with CT images. The second CD-RW I received was still not formatted correctly and no images could be viewed AGAIN. I returned a fourth time and tried to maintain calm even though I was visibly NOT HAPPY. I spoke to a nurse about my frustration and she passed on my information to the Medical Director for Beaumont Emergency Hospital. The medical director (Dr. Williams) called me on the evening of 12/20/23 at around 11pm to discuss my complaint and frustrations with how their error created a lot of unnecessary turmoil for me in the hospital. I was told by Dr. Williams that he is only the medical director for the facility and doesn't know about radiology imaging and how the CD discs with images are made. He assured me that he would pass on my complaint to the CEO. I requested to speak to either the facility manager or CEO because I have some outrageous medical bills heading my way due to their error in creating a CD disc with my CT images before sending me to the hospital. I expressed my plans to file a complaint against the facility with THHS because their error caused my surgical procedure at the hospital to be delayed which led to my hospital stay lasting 5 days instead of 3. Because of their errors, I will be required to pay a larger copay/coinsurance for the additional procedures and extended stay at the hospital simply because they could not format a CD-RW disc correctly. If they would have simply used a CD-R disc instead, then I would not have had to extend my stay at the hospital or likely required a MRI for treatment. read more

My experience with Beaumont ER is always superior. I love how much they care and listen. During my most recent short stay, I experienced the worst nurse EVER. Eric was on the observation side and was extremely rude and careless. When asked for meds, he told me to wait for him to get settled in. He pushed the meds in fast which caused me to feel weird. He was not attentive at all. I dreaded having to ask him for anything. He had horrible bedside manners and when asked for something to help me sleep, he told me to ask the doctor the next morning. Although this was the worst experience ever, I will return because I know he is not the norm there. I didn't want to give the facility a low rating due to just one person. I have been going there since they opened as Beaumont Emergency Center and now as Beaumont Emergency Hospital. They used to be in network for united healthcare but I now have Cigna and it is outside of the network. I believe the billing department does a great job. The RN Steve did a great job and also the doctor did a great job. I went in today with 9out of 10 pain in my back and neck into my arms and legs and they got the pain under control and prescribed medication for at home. This was by far the worst experience I've had in my entire life !! I am from out of state . I had trouble breathing && this was the closest hospital to me . I am an Asthmatic person so I went in right away . I did not have my insurance card I knew my number . I didn't think I was going to have an emergency out of town while visiting family . The lady at the help desk had no knowledge at all of how to verify someone's insurance with out the insurance card while they are from out of state . So I got turned away from the "emergency room" while having an asthma attack . I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place if your in need of emergency medical care . read more

I had to go here from work on Christmas Eve with chest pain and shortness of breath. Despite being literally slammed with patients, the staff were superb! Rachel, Tina, and Dr. Kolcun were so attentive and got everything rolling quickly. The hospital emergency rooms really need to step up their game!!! After visiting this emergency center, I was charged for A CT when they only performed X-rays, charged for taking blood and tons of labs that go along with taking blood....they never took blood, the list goes on and on. And every time I call the billing department they want to transfer me to a manager that is never in the office and never has returned my calls. read more

Came in for a large gash in the back of a friends head, and had a wonderful young pretty nurse came and took the greatest care of my friend. He was never in any discomfort and was tended too head and foot. Her name was Alexa and she was very professional, also she kept us up to speed on what was going to happen and had all the answers to our questions! 10/10 would ask for her care if we ever have to come back! read more

I can not say enough about the nurses at this place. I have been REALLY struggling physically and emotionally after a major surgery, and we ended up coming here this evening. The nurses we SO gentle and incredibly kind. One of the sweet nurses came in to pull out my IV and found me crying. She sat with me, told me about her own post-surgery struggles and cried with me. It meant the absolute world to me, and she went so far above and beyond her job description. We got in and out so quickly and just had an overall wonderful experience. read more

My knee hurt so bad that I barely walked in to Beaumont Emergency Hospital's door. When I did I was processed and attended to quickly, the reason I went there was to avoid the wait at a regular hospital emergency room due to the extreme pain. Sharon perform an ultrasound with care and concern for my comfort and Courtney took xrays with the same care and concern. I ended up staying for 2 nights. Rachel and Jennifer were 2 of the floor nurses. They and others made me feel like I was the only one there with their hospitality and concern. I left there much better than when I arrived due to the doctor's and nurse's care, attention and concern. I will return to Beaumont Emergency Hospital if I need urgent care again. read more

We have visited Beaumont Emergency Center multiple (approx. 5) times, for various injuries/illnesses. We have been consistently greeted and treated quickly & professionally as well as competently. It can be extra-stressful when dealing with a child who is in pain, or when you're unsure of the cause or severity of an illness or injury. At one point I was on a trip for business out of state when one of my boys broke a bone. During this and all of these times I was confident my children would be properly cared for. Very grateful this facility is in our vicinity, even so, on more than one occasion I have opted to bypass other facilities which were closer in proximity as I was sure we'd receive treatment more readily here. read more

We went to Beaumont Emergency Center for my son for heat related illness on August 1st. Dr. Ireland was awesome! They had us back and on an IV in about 10 min. I have a dispute with the amount I paid on a bill. I was told several times that the overcharge would be refunded and after a month, I have not been refunded the amount I was overcharged. I have used this facility several times. However, after the complete frustration from the billing departments, I will NEVER use this facility again. First of all, it takes them MONTHS to send you a bill. Then, after you pay everything, they keep sending you bills stating that you are overdue. My payments for my bills posted a MONTH ago, and I am still getting bills. Additionally, the phone numbers that are on these bills are incorrect. You call one number, they tell you that they don't handle the billing any more, and they give you another number. You call that number, you are told they don't handle THAT PART of the bill and give you another number. You call THAT number, they tell you that they cannot look up your account. NEVER again!!! read more
