The fields are always well kept and managed properly; even the bathrooms are pretty clean. Being a sports themed park, it tends to get busy when multiple sports are going at one time. In addition, there are only 2 entrances to the park, which causes a lot of congestion. Overall, it's a nice park but I wouldn't consider having a birthday party or some other type of function that didn't include organized sports here.

Even a couple of areas to shoot some hoops. Bathrooms are well maintained and overall the lawns are great not having to deal with gopher holes or anything that's a hazard very often. It's late afternoon here during soccer and baseball season, it is a literal madhouse trying to find parking. So give yourself plenty of time to drive the loop or look for places to park. Lots of room here for family picnics and get togethers as well.

There are picnic tables and bbqs throughout the park, a track lines the perimeter and there's also a vending machine library. I really enjoy walking my dog there. With the new builds in the area the park has gotten super busy, but still a great place to visit.

They recently added one of those cool library vending machines, and I love that touch--it makes the park feel even more welcoming and community-focused. The playground is great, the baseball fields are well-kept, and it's the perfect place to walk, relax, or hang out with family. It's definitely my favorite park in the area. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a trash can and hand dryers inside the restroom. Other than that, I just hope people continue to take care of it--it's such a beautiful space and it deserves to stay that way!

We came here for the first time for the AYSO Locomotion tournament. There was overflowing trash cans in every area, trash all over the fields and nobody from the city clearing anything out. None of the porta potties had water in the hand washing stations first thing Sunday morning, also the fields are in bad shape with dangerous divots/holes and uneven playing surfaces. Yes, it's conveniently located next to many shopping centers and eateries, but in no way would I make this the main hub field for all future tournaments. I didn't like the fact that each field was separated by a road or parking lot as vehicles impatiently speed thru making it dangerous for the kids, definitely one of the worst fields/parks we have been to play soccer at over many years.

The homework is terribly stressful for students of their age, the children go home with so much that they have no time to socialize and are often left with some to do on the weekend aswell, leaving zero chance to socialize or take care of separate responsibilities. Along that, a majority of the teachers are rude and overbearing of their students.

For the population of Hemet the support of the school is sad , It looks like the parents just let their children out, while they stay home or they're probably out clubbing. Maybe it's the talent I don't know but some team has to stand out..As a special note never miss a fight when wannabe kids come to fight during the game..

The map on All Trails was not accurate to the map that was posted at each trail entrance which was odd, so we got stomped a few times. All in all, a nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors, lots of dogs being walked through with a cute playground as well.

Shadow Mountain Park is such a wonderful community space. There's so much open, free space to play,…read morewalk, or just relax, and the park is always clean and well taken care of by the community. The playground is a huge win for kids; it has a zipline, several slides, and fun climbing structures that keep them entertained for a long time. We've also been here during softball/baseball games, and it's such a fun, festive environment with families cheering and enjoying the evening. One thing I will mention is that the park could definitely use more lighting at night when games aren't happening, especially during the parts of the year when the sun sets earlier. It can get a little too dark too fast. Overall, though, it's a great park for all ages and one of our favorite local spots!

There's a huge grassy space for soccer and baseball, and a hill if you have kids that enjoy rolling down them. They also have a large gazebo with limited table-benches. Great for hosting an outdoor party and dog-friendly too (they have trash for disposing doggy poop). Perfect for picnics if you bring your own EZ-Up or outdoor chairs. Note: it gets busy when there's a game here. They have some parking spaces within the park. And more along the neighborhood streets.

The park is in a Chapman Heights housing development. Not very big, but set up on a hill with a very nice view, is clean and safe, and has attractive landscaping. There were two small basketball courts and a playset the kids quite enjoyed - with the largest climbing wall I have seen in the area. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday (late afternoon) with ample street parking. As a bonus, there appears to be a nicely maintained trail running next to the park and up the hill behind. Will be returning to see where it leads...
