Hi, my name is Sarah. I come from a Russian Jewish background and I am also Coptic Orthodox. I've spent most of my life in public schools, but I wanted to share my experience at Aquinas High School. If I'm being completely honest, it was terrible. On my very first day, a male student called me a "fat bitch." The overall culture felt entitled and hypocritical--many people here call themselves "Christians," but their behavior doesn't reflect those values. As someone who values faith deeply, I expected more respect and compassion. Instead, I found students who lacked kindness and basic decency. I believe school should be a place where students can freely share their identity and personal beliefs without fear of ridicule. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at Aquinas. I ultimately left and returned to my home public school, and I would never recommend Aquinas to anyone. In my heart, I do believe that sometimes God places people in difficult environments to remind them to lean on Him. Maybe this school is meant for those who don't know Him and need to seek Him out. But for students who already have faith, Aquinas does not provide anything more. A public school or a different private school would be a much better option. Also, I couldn't help but notice they don't have reviews up on Google, which is concerning. read more

very bad attitude from the person who supposed to be helping with enrollment , (Mrs. R) I saw how she treated one of the parents on June 14 for the " Welcoming family event ". and I don't feel to continue with my daughters enrollment, to show support to that family being mistreated. it is a great family that my daughter went with her son to another private school. His mom was always very humble and collaborating with all schools activities. read more

We attended my nephew's graduation at the school. It was a nice graduation ceremony that ended with fireworks and a reception under a big tent. It is a very nice high school. The campus is very spacious and the faculty and students were very friendly. However, the surrounding neighborhood is not very safe. A few cars were broken into including one of our family member's car while parked on the street. It wasn't a great way to end a night of celebrating the graduating class. read more

Great academically, does a great job preparing kids for college and securing scholarships for them. HOWEVER, their leadership is unbelievably bad! You can contact the principal, Egan, as much as you want and you will never get a response from her, only whoever it gets delegated to. My child got very publicly bullied and they chose inaction. They chose not to do anything at all!! It is mind blowing that the sports coaches have a stronger backbone and will kick a kid off the team for less severe bullying but administration does nothing for severe and very public bullying. read more

this school is good for you kids and they teach them a lot of new stuff and there also fun activities that the teens do

While I am biased since I started working at Aquinas a few years ago, I fell in love with the small family feel and the rigorous college prep atmosphere. I had originally intended on only working here for a few years, but now I am in it for the long haul and am most definitely sending my own children to this school. read more

This school is horrible and they are petty. They don't know what a carry is in volleyball and they should learn before they start being referee. They shouldn't complain about small matters that could be handled on their on time. read more

Send your high school age student here. 0% drop out rate and nearly everyone goes onto college. They have a great track record for finding scholarships for graduates. There is a strong alumni group and the teachers really care about the students. If you want to ensure your child succeeds in life, give them this education. read more

If i could give this school a 0 star rating i would. I sent my son to this school and he hated it and so did I. Teachers are unprofessional jokes and so is the rest of the staff. I walked in to use the restroom one time and the restroom was filthy there was rolls of toilet paper in the urinals. And waste and urine all over the floor it made my shoes all sticky. Please dont send your kids to this joke of a school. My son said this school was full of drama and bullying and he couldnt take it anymore so I took him out of there. This school just steals and steals money making you spend the crazy tuition then still charging you the Ipad , uniforms , books , and other money for useless things. This place calls itself a Catholic school, when its the worse school in San Bernardino. Please dont make the same mistake I did. read more

I am very happy here! My daughter is a senior and she has had 4 great years here. My youngest will be attending next year and she is very excited for what's to come at Aquinas. The Aquinas community is part of my family. Very close community. We love this school and the teachers and administration. They care about my kids and their success. Unlike my public high school alma mater in San Bernardino, Aquinas continues to get better and better each year. Both my sons and all my nieces and nephews attend (or have attended) Aquinas and all received a solid education. The teachers and administrators here clearly care about what they do and it reflects in all aspects of student life. If you are an active and engaged parent that wants their child to have a high quality, moral high school experience, I recommend you consider enrolling your student at Aquinas. read more

We are very impressed with Aquinas High School and all the opportunities that it provides for the students. The school has Health, Law, and Engineering, Academies and the new Performing Arts Building that is being built is beautiful! The Athletic Program is competitive and the Academics here are top notch. We love the involvement the teachers and staff have with the students and the fact that your child is not just a number at this school. The Teachers, Counselors, and Coaches care for your children as if they were their own, and Mr Barrows the Principal knows every student by name. I strongly recommend Aquinas for your son or daughter if you are looking for a strong Catholic based education as well as a safe environment where your child can truly succeed. read more

I am an Aquinas Alumni and have sent both of my children to this school. I couldn't be more pleased to be a part of such a wonderful high school. Both of my children have received an amazing education here, both accepted to a 4 year university and one in their honors program. They offer more AP classes than local public schools and a safe environment with caring teachers. The campus is beautiful, gated and secured. It has also been voted the best private high school in the Inland Empire for the last 5 years, so they must be doing something right! read more

We have a freshman at Aquinas, and so far, we are very impressed! They seem to be very organized, and they make it so easy for the parents to constantly be informed. We like all of our student's teachers and counselor, and we like that our son is surrounded by like-minded kids and families. read more

Aquinas High School has a wonderful international program. Many other schools have only a diverse ethnic student body. Aquinas also has a diverse cultured population as well diverse ethnicity! That is an added educational experience for ALL of their students. Even their AP classes are blended with international students. (Many AP classes to pick is just another reason that Aquinas is a smart choice for your children) read more
