It's been empty for years. This is now a very good beer and wine store. Open and clean and well labeled, they carry a good selection of mid-level wines- nothing over $20 that I could see. Some hard liquor - some brands I'd never seen before which was neat. Excellent beer selection and a number of local places are here too. Medusa from Hudson is here. The sell lotto tickets too. Cashier was very friendly and helpful not only to us but others in the store. It looks like some other business was meant to go in here - I figured a brand new place would be sparking but the floor has had some repairs and there is open space towards the back. But I am grateful this is here and will be back!

I had wore a full face motorcycle helmet into the shop and wears roundly scolded that they, "don't do helmets in the store." Apparently the guy didn't like my clarifying question of surprise, "No, helmets?" His attitude picked up even more and he demanded an ID (I'm almost 40 years old) on an obvious power trip. Shop doesn't like motorcycles. I thought the owner was a car guy but apparently the people he hires didn't get the message. Doesn't appreciate the customers who have kept them in business. Goodbye.

A VERY RUDE cashier refused service to my wife returning kegs that we had kept for a few…read moremonths...do not belive the website when they say no time limit to teturn for deposit on kegs. We are now stuck with several empty kegs that we cannot get our $50 deposits back and we now have brewery property that needs to go back to the brewery and no clear idea how to proceed. The man working actually stated he felt her lack of a recipt after several months was " shady". I am VERY upset with his implication that my sweet little country gal was up to no good. Two other customers( i assume regulars) walked right in and out deposits processed no check of any kind for a receipt or even ID age verification which with no alchohol involved woild be uneeded anyway but at least.would make sense. Great selection, cold coolers, and minus the atrocity of a human being at the register a very good shop. 2/5stars I suppose is fair...
