I found Beautiful Body Sculpting on Yelp & decided to give a phone call to ask for information regarding lymphatic massages. I spoke to Ms Kia (via phone & text) over multiple conversations in regards to the benefits of the massages for my treatments, price, availability, & so forth. She was extremely kind & knowledgeable regarding lymphatic massages and the need for it following many procedures. On August 20, I had a breast augmentation, 360 lipo, tummy tuck, & a BBL! I went in for my first massage on Tuesday Aug 23 with Carla. Carla is so sweet, funny, & very talented. The first massage was not as painful as I anticipated it would be. Following the massage, I felt so much better. The pain subsided and the swelling went down tremendously. I took a 3 hour nap after. The second massage was the next day, and I felt even better! After lipo, you get this burning sensation & can feel the fluids causing bumps and discomfort in the areas treated. I am not kidding when I say, that after the second massage that pain subsided by about 80% in just four days being post op with the big surgery I had. Today I just finished my 4th massage with Ms Kia. I am only 9 days post op from a massive surgery to include breast augmentation, 360 lipo, tummy tuck, & BBL! I am almost walking standing completely straight, but I am not rushing this process either. I can just say the massages have played a huge part in my recovery so far. My pain level is about a 1-2 and I am only taking Tylenol & Ibuprofen & arnica pills. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for lymphatic massages following procedures. The women who work here are extremely talented and knowledgeable. The office is clean and so comfortable and cute. What can I say about this establishment and these lovely ladies that hasn't already been said? Let me begin by saying that their business information is misleading. They state that they provide non-invasive, non-surgical weight loss and body contouring. This is all true but they fail to mention the emotional connection they provide. I don't remember signing up for their psychotherapy, but every time I arrive, I'm greeted with a warm smile. They lay me down on a comfy bed and when my toes are frosty, they put a warm blanket on my tootsies. Then they soothe me with aroma therapy, make me feel at home and comfortable and eventually I find myself spewing all of my problems and emotions to them. Then as I leave they hand me a bottle of rejuvenator which they call water and I'm left with a light heart, body, mind, and soul, and a warm squishy feeling inside. I don't know what it is about Momma Kia (as I affectionately call her) but her last name "Spell" must be a befitting moniker rather than her real name because she is a healer. Every time she works her magic on me I gain some extra pep to my step and leaves me ready to take on the day. As if this wasn't enough reason to try Beautiful Body Sculpting yourself, their pricing is the most competitive in the industry, and their results speak for themselves. Aftercare is a MUST and plan on spending the extra money to make sure you recover properly and protect your plastic surgery investment. When you make your surgery date, THEN call these ladies and set up your aftercare appointments. I went with an old school doctor that attempted to move me away from lymphatic massage and let me tell you,I'm glad I did NOT listen!!!If it hadn't been for this place, who knows where my progress would've gone. The doctor gets you there and these ladies will bring you to the best possible outcome. Everything from fajas, sizing, lipo foam, diet, what you can and cannot do, but most importantly they give you a speedy recovery. Both my friend and I had surgery within the same week. When I was back at the gym, back to work and mobile, she was still struggling to sit, stand and get up bc she didn't start her aftercare until over 8 weeks later. NO! Do not do this. Everytime I visited the doctor for status appointments, he commended me on healing and progress,but he didn't know that these girls were the secret sauce!!!THIS PLACE IS A MUST! I usually never leave reviews... let alone negative ones but I feel it's important. Let me start off by saying I get lymphatic messages frequently. My recent experience here was below average to say the least. Before I arrive I call the facility to let them know I am running a few minutes late. My appointment was scheduled for an hour and 20 minutes. When I arrive I was asked to complete a series of forms which I was happy to do. After I finished I was taken back for my service. As the provider starts my service she does not give me a typical lymphatic message. Our lymph nodes are all over near your arm pits for example by your lower stomach, etc. I felt this woman who was performing this massage was not trained and didn't know what she was doing. Before we started she made me take before and after photos which I felt was weird because now they have personal pictures of me. I proceeded with the service regardless of how uncomfortable I was. Since I was a few minutes late she said she would not be doing wood therapy on me. I thought ok.. fine she still would be doing the lymphatic massage and the radio frequency. She starts massaging very softly over my stomach. In my experience a lymphatic message is not your typical message but regardless she was very soft and not typical for lymphatic messages. You are trying to detox the body by messaging your entire arms legs in upward motion usually. Not what this provider was doing and all she targeted was the front of my abdominal. Again you are typically massaging all over in upward motions which is not what she did. I did not have this type of service or was I messaged throughout my lymph nodes! I'm so upset because this is not what I expected at all. I basically got a radio frequency treatment rather than a body contour treatment which is what I booked for. They could of also informed me if I am late to reschedule especially since this was my first time. I will not be returning and I just wanted to share my experience because I don't want others to have the same experience or disappointment as I did. I will say the staff are sweet but they need to be properly trained because someone who gets lymphatic messages frequently this was not it. read more
