Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with my experience with Karla. Communication has consistently been an issue, as responses often take a very long time. I still have services pending that already has been paid for, and after reaching out multiple times, I have now been completely ghosted for weeks with no response to any of my messages. I understand that people get busy, but completely ignoring a client who still has pending services is extremely unprofessional. I would have appreciated some communication or an explanation rather than being left without an answer. Overall, I'm not happy with how this situation has been handled. read more

I went Luna Tropical with a Groupon for a Facial Treatment that included Extractions. The moment I arrived for my appointment, Kara (owner of the business) started asking me if I wanted something else instead, or pay extra for additional treatment; I said no, just whatever is included. When she started she said that she thought something else would work better, and give the same result. I told her I wanted normal Extractions. She rushed thru the process and did not finish the Extractions. When I got to my car and looked in the mirror I immediately realized that there were clogged pours all over my cheeks and she didn't complete the treatment that I paid for. I am disappointed, I feel that she cut short my treatment procedure because I was a Groupon customer, which is unacceptable! read more

I will never be going back to this place. I informed her of a hormonal condition I have and she immediately began to berate me, telling me to "eat salads" "no red meat" etc, as if she knew my life and my lifestyle. I only disclosed my condition because she was asking things about my skin, but the response I received was out of line. She does not know me, my life style, my opinions, my self view, etc to be making such assumptions about me. I came to get a facial to relax, and was only met with criticism that stemmed from false assumptions . I couldn't relax the remainder of the facial and just wanted to leave ASAP. I hope this is a lesson for her to have compassion, and to not be judgmental of her clients. read more
