What a bizarre experience. My fiancé went to speak to Korby a YEAR before our wedding in Feb of this year. My fiancé kept me updated as he had everything paid for and planned for pretty much everything required for the whole wedding 3 months after we announced our wedding. He explained to me that he went to visit Korby a couple times to talk about ideas and even offered to pay for whatever she was willing to accept. But she didn't want to accept anything because she said "prices change". Sure, that's fine. Finally 6 months before the wedding he that explained Korby told him to come in to talk to her closer to the wedding. It is now December, so he went to speak to her last week. he assumed that she'd take the job as they've been speaking for nearly a year with her fully knowing when and where the event was taking place. She said she'd send an estimate this week but instead we got an email stating that she was unable to do the job. No further explanation. I can't help but to feel certain ways about this entire experience. Absolutely bizarre. Leaving my guy heartbroken and to scramble looking for a new florist that we already thought we had in the bag. So this is how I found this place: daughter has a dance recital- YELP search florists/ first one to pop up/ called, said she could have a bouquet ready in 15 minutes for $25 or less/ arrived 15 minutes later/ INSTANT FAN, CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!! I had no idea there was a flower shop on Sunset and Marks, so to make it easy, it's in the Best Buy parking lot, next to Panda Express. I dealt with a woman named Korby I believe. Not sure if she was the owner, but it is very possible. For $25 she made a bouquet with four roses and about a dozen carnations. It smelled amazing and stayed fresh over the weekend. It was perfect for my 12 year olds dance recital. Not too big, nothing too expensive. This place looks like it could do it all. From prom accessories to funeral flowers. They will wrap it up in plastic or put it in a nice vase depending on what you're looking for. I was happy to find a neighborhood flower shop that does not charge crazy prices, has decent quality, and good service. I will be back anytime I need fresh flowers! read more
