My first lashes appointment was with Fernanda and they looked great, but they all fell out when I went on vacation and my face was assaulted by the wind and salt water of the Pacific - I also didn't know you have to wash them to prevent oily buildup, so yeah. I came back two weeks later with literally no extensions left and had to pay for a full set all over again rather than a touch-up. I do wish they had told me about needing to wash them, because I really wasn't provided with the full aftercare instructions the first time I got them. But, now I know. They sell a special foam wash and gentle applicator for the soap here, which I recommend purchasing. My second session was with Viktoriia, who is absolutely incredible. Mynx & Inks is definitely out of the way if you live in DC, but it's worth it for the fair pricing and amazing quality.

I noticed my lashes kept breaking so I stopped going. Now I go to Sen Lashes. Not only is Sen Lashes super gentle on my lashes but the owner is super sweet and accommodating.

The owner, Sathya, quickly answered my call and then escorted me into the salon. I ended up being a few minutes late because I was "lost" but Sathya did take me and after a quick discussion as to what I was looking for quickly had me seated and started. She was very personable and had her young daughter there as I was the last appointment of the day. She was professional and efficient and in 15-20 mins was done tidying up my brows (which were suffering from neglect as I have not regularly seen someone since moving to Frederick). She has a mirror to let you check her work but I did not need additional clean up (which I'm sure she would have done). Threading is not painless and she checked before she started that I had threading done previously so I knew what to expect. All in all quick and painless process. Scheduling was a breeze as was payment afterwards.

I asked for the acrylic nails another salon ad put on be removed and gel polish on my natural nails. That was Thursday, today is Sunday. $130 and now I have to spend more to get my nails repainted! I should also mention she bolted before I could get my shoes on to pick up her kids... maybe that is why the polish is so bad!

They have 2 rooms each with 4 pedicure chairs. I was in one room getting my pedicure and another lady was in the other room. The employees still wear masks which is nice, the salon was clean and they had plenty of colors to choose from. I'm happy with my gel pedicure the price point of $55 was nice!

These are the softest lashes I have ever had I don't even feel them. I highly recommend!! My first session took over three hours and I was grateful they were so thorough plus we got to sing to 2000 pop music which was a big plus for me. I love it here. It's super affordable and AMAZING quality.
