I had actually heard about Hudson Lash Studio from a joint Instagram giveaway that I won, that they were doing with K & B Bridals. I was super excited to get to have an experience at the lash studio. I had gotten lash extensions before, but never professionally/ individually placed only in clusters. The overall appointment was about 2 hours long, but it was well worth it because my lashes look SO good and natural. Also, Molly was a gem! She was very thorough in explaining everything about the lash extensions; from the placements, feelings I would feel during the appointment (considering your eyes are closed), after care & maintenance. It was SO easy to relax and unwind here- I definitely dozed off. I was greeted right away at the door where she took my coat and then took me on a quick tour of the salon and their salon offerings. We then sat down in her chair where we discussed what I wanted and then what she thought after looking at different pictures of my prior haircuts and then we made a decision on what we were going to do today. John was my technician and my nails look amazing. They're beautifully shaped and he did a good job with that but he was very rough. He cut my finger and didn't apologize. In fact, he said that I am too rigid. I've been getting my nails done for 30 or so years and I just didn't appreciate that. Also, my nail beds in general are sore today, the day after. He was very rough with the file and burn my skin several times. the experience was painful overall very uncomfortable, I would say if you're OK with this, John is outstanding at shaping your nails they look really pretty. I'm just concerned about getting infections because he didn't take the time to clean where I was bleeding. Just kept filing away even though I pointed out that I was bleeding. I hope I don't get an infection. FYI I was ticket number 55 on April 27, and I found the pricing to be fair and everyone was kind. other than that experience. even John himself is a kind person, but not very sensitive to the nail beds or feelings of his client. Some of the techs are just rude and owner is clueless on how to do nails, and couldn't care less. Do not go to Gina ... she will ruin your natural nails filing creating cracks and fungus. She will give you acrylic when you asked for dip. She will ask you to add on services, charge you different prices each time and rush you outta there for the next customer. she will wax your eyebrows and walk off, because she does not know what she is doing. I'm a regular now.
