I came in for my first Brazilian wax and I was so nervous but the entire staff was welcoming, friendly and happy to answer my questions. 3rd time coming in for a facial. I absolutely love Julie. She explains the products she is using and gives tips for keeps my skin healthy and moisturized in the dry air. Everyone was very friendly. Service was prompt. I had an eyelash dye. I only wish I would've asked more questions....such as: Do you do top and bottom lashes? and Are there different shades of dye? The price was high for an "advanced" Brazilian Wax that was mediocre. My husband had to finish the job for me because my esthetician claimed the hairs weren't long enough. I've had enough professional waxes to realize she wasn't very good. The atmosphere of Beautiful You was serene but I could never recommend this particular service to anyone. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. If you've ever received chemo therapy at any point in your life for any type of cancer do not even book an appointment. They will turn you down. After speaking with two doctors, they have confirmed that there is no reason to be turned down for a simple facial. I understand some treatments and topicals might be too harsh, but you're telling me some steam blown on your face and a light moisturizer is too dangerous? No, the esthetician was just ready to leave for the day so wouldn't accommodate. After booking this appointment over two weeks in advance, it was a huge disappointment to be turned down. A large disclaimer should be posted on the website that they will not see people who have had cancer! Will not be referring or coming back!! read more

I was really happy with this place. I had Trisha (sp?) do my eyebrows. She did a very nice job enhancing my natural shape but not making my eyebrows look unnatural at all. On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, I sent an e-mail request through Yelp to schedule an appointment for a consultation with Desarae Marhofer. According to the Yelp website there is a 3-day response time and a 100% response rate. Apparently that is NOT true. As of today (April 5, 2017), which is 8 days; I still have yet to receive any type of response from this establishment. Also, on the same day of March 28, 2017; I telephoned this establishment and was greeted by a rude receptionist, who informed me that Ms. Marhofer was with a client and would call me back when she was finished. Again, I still have yet to receive a call back from Ms. Marhofer. For someone who is so VERY interested in helping her community and individuals with their skincare issues; it appears to me that this establishment may be "selective" on who they wish to help; OR, their receptionist is not relaying information!!!!!!! read more
