I called back and they told me I could go back and fix it with the same person who already did a horrible job. I asked to talk to the manager. She said she was busy l. It's so hard to find an actual spa around here that's available and actually worth the experience. I found this place and figured to give it a try. I called on a Saturday and usually most places are extremely busy and booked for weeks out. The receptionist was able to schedule me today since there was an cancellation. I come in and the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. You can tell they take pride in their presentation and they had customers coming in and out which let me know people were pleased. Jessica was the one who did my facial, I decided to get the dermabrasion to help with some scarring and discoloration I was having. Jessica was extremely profesional and knowledgable about what was best for my skin. She took her time and actually made this session so relaxing that I actually went to sleep, LOL! It was so peaceful and the rooms are set up to make you feel rested and comfortable. The sessions are about an hour and you can instantly see the improvements. Like most places they try to sell you products but here that did not happen. Their honesty and professionalism will make me a recurring costumer. Cute place, really good price for a Brazilian. They were sweet when I had to reschedule as well! I will say, they didn't notify us of using soft wax for a Brazilian until I was on the table. Hard wax is traditionally used, so the soft wax was a bit of a shocker. I think it works for some people, and others it doesn't. It would be helpful if the front desk workers let new clients know that it's soft wax, rather than hard. My waxer was super sweet and calming as well, but I probably won't be using soft wax again as it hurts more. read more

I went for my first wax and I was already nervous, I walked in and was greeted by two awesome ladies. Kinda made me more nervous because I've never sat spread eagle in front of anyone to just "hey look at me" type situations. Long story short, it was the owner and a newer employee which is awesome by all means they were very nice and professional. I just wasn't aware that I for my first wax was going to be someone's "first of many" waxes. Mind you this is my first wax, I laid down and everything was okay but I've read that it's supposed to be one pull... well it took two maybe three pulls sometimes which was very painful. That was my only issue, nothing wrong service was awesome but maybe do it with someone that is experienced with waxes for trainees. I am so thankful for the Waxing Bee!! I've tried THREE different places since moving to Colorado and was starting to think I wouldn't find a great wax again but today I went to the Waxing Bee and am so happy I did. I had Brittany and she was efficient, fast, and it was virtually pain free! Had a Brazilian done here yesterday. Super disappointed with the staff and procedure. I have been getting Brazilians for years. After moving to the Springs I was trying to find a spot so I didn't have to drive to my normally lady in Denver. Didn't remove all hair, she pushed extremely hard down to get the wax to attach (have never had that kind of pressure needed), and left behind lots of hairs. I didn't give this place 1 star because at least for $45 I didn't feel like I spent 60+ but I will continue to go to Denver, not worth the time and didn't even do what is advertised. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for years. I've lived across the U.S. so needless to say, I've visited many waxing salons over the years. I really enjoyed my most recent experience at The Waxing Bee. When I arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was a bit early so I spent some time in the waiting area. Any waiting area that has Starbursts is A-Okay in my book! It was nice (and tasty) touch. I worked with Jessica and she could not have been better. She cleaned up my fuzzy brows in no time. She was great to chat with as well. I will definitely rebook with Jessica in the future. As far as pricing goes, they are very competitive - I paid $15 (not including tip). In my former city, I easily paid $25 base for the same service. I like their tipping policy as well. They only accept cash tips and it's private - they have envelopes for each of the staff, you put your gratuity in the envelope for the staff member, and place it in the slot. Waxing isn't exactly the most relaxing of activities, but the staff at The Waxing Bee made it an overall fantastic experience. read more
