I forgot to check their hours and they accepted me in no questions asked and just told me I was the last walk in! I just did a simple single color gel nail (dark red/brown). The girl took her absolute time with my nails! She was very beautiful too I had to tell her! She was also very gentle, she was I assume American like all the other techs because they all spoke great English and it was nice to have a conversation with someone speaking the same language. I'm not meaning to be racist WHATSOEVER! But sometimes the language barrier can be hard to have a good quality conversation about something other than nails. Anyways, my nails turned out great! The second time I went to try a lash lift with a different technician! I fell asleep! Hahaha! She was very gentle, I hardly felt anything except at the beginning of course when they're putting down the strips under/over your bottom lashes. She had a very cozy blanket I could cover up with I even went and bought myself one of the similar texture! All the staff is super friendly, very in detail about their services, the environment is beautiful and they even have a "kids menu" if you're looking to take your mini me's!! You can tell each person working there takes pride in what they do and I'll DEFINITELY be going back. I tried going someplace closer twice and left VERY disappointed. I've been going here for almost four years because typically the quality is decent, even with its…read moreinconsistencies; however, the service from management lacks friendliness and true customer service. When they ask if you want something a certain way, if there's an extra charge, they are not transparent about that and don't bring anything in writing. Yesterday, I was asked if I wanted a different color with my dip. I had no idea it was a different process altogether or that there was a $20 upcharge! When I questioned this at payment (also don't show breakdown before you pay), the answer was "she told you that and you agreed". Excuse me?! I wouldn't be questioning something that I agreed to. I spend a lot of money in this place getting a full set and pedicure nearly every 2-weeks and they're still going to communicate this way?! Time to find someplace else to go. I've had this happen before and enough is enough. Not over $20, but merely due to rude, matter of fact, unempathetic communication that lacks a customer-centric business. The whole thing was painless, and dispite the location not a bit uncomfortable. Amanda is a GEM!, one of the most genuine people I have ever met. She gets straight to busness, and all the while is able to carry on an easy coversation that maks time go by fast. Price is completly reasonable too! The only downside is that my Nav took me to the old location,( the Blue-gray building in the picture) - Bare is not there anymore, but 1 block to the West, with the entrance on the corner of Crockett and Lamar, in a Large, white Buildng.
