Barbara pushed her opinions and style choices repeatedly until I would give in. I do not like the top to be cut with a trimmer. I like scissor cut. I wanted the sides transition to the top more squared. I do not like a rounded buzz cut style top. I stated these preferences, only to have her opinions pushed over and over. This is my hair, I want it a certain way. She kept bringing up styling product out of no where. I felt like I was being subliminally manipulated to want hair gel. I stated I haven't used that in a decade or more. I keep it simple. Still she brought it up over and over. By the end she buzzed the top because "it would be as short as I want it" and pushed me buying product because it would "fix" the sides. She ridiculed most of my preferences and then when I gave in she proudly claimed "I know what I'm doing, you'll remember to listen to me from now on". This is one of the worst haircuts I have ever had and I'm never coming back to this location and this might be the final nail in the great clips coffin. I can manage a buzz cut on my own, I didn't want one and paid $22 for something I could have done without leaving my house. Avoid Barbara at all costs.

I asked, "aren't you supposed to rinse that off first" and she rudely said "no... it's barbicide" like yes I can read thank you. My scalp started to burn as I was sitting on the chair longer and longer. I did a quick Google and sure enough the combs are supposed to be washed off before use. I attached pictures of my Google search to prove this is not ok practice. Not to mention the comb she was using looked like it was ten years old and had broken prongs. Not sure how you can get a proper cut while using a comb that's broken. To top it all off, not once was I asked if the water was ok while she was washing my hair. I had to ask twice for her to turn the temperature down. She didn't ask if I wanted my hair blow dried and just started doing it. She didn't ask how I wanted it styled and just turned on the straightener. When I said "oh you dont need to straighten it, I don't like using heat on my hair" she got snippy and said "ok you can just follow me then." And turned the straightener off. When I was being checked out I was not asked how the service or my experience was and was basically just given the price and told me I can read the monitor. Horrible experience. Let's hope my scalp is okay and I don't need to go to the doctor!!!!
