To say I was dissatisfied was an understatement. There was so much wrong I will attempt this in a bulleted summarized version. - extremely disorganized. Even before the day of Michele could not keep names and styles straight. My wedding planner had to send her information SEVERAL times and attempt organize timing with her. She still saved nothing and sent nothing to the other stylists. -Michele did not share anything with her team. No team member knew the hair styles we requested, one artist had to do hair when she didn't know how. Stylist complained that she didn't know who people had extensions when we were specifically told to get them. My hair wasn't remotely close to what I had asked for. Stylists were NOT prepared -took 3 stylists over 5 hours to so 7 hair and makeup. -they made me miss my getting ready photos and almost make me miss first looks with my parents. I barely made it to my wedding on time -Michele and the main hair stylist complained the entire time. Bad talked weddings, my wedding planner, my photographers (as well as demanding free photos for their profiles), and MYSELF as if somehow my wedding party would not have told me. -pricing changed significantly AFTER I agreed to have Michele do services. -she set her stylists up for failure and sat on her phone instead of helping -my makeup wasn't even remotely close to the inspo pic. After 4 attempts at improving it I said it's fine because we had to move on. Not even kidding, the Breeze knocked my makeup off before I got to the ceremony. You could barley tell I had eyeshadow on. -she did not give a touch up kit to anyone she did. The other artist did. -one tear and I had a streak through my makeup the whole time -no setting spray -tried 2 products shed never used ON MY WEDDING DAY. Neither worked. My lipstick literally came off on my grooms face at first kiss. What was left turned into flakes and make a mess on my face and thank goodness a bridesmaid had lipstick so I could fix it. - my hair fell by ceremony and had to be fixed by my bridesmaids about every 45 minutes. We didn't even had dancing nor was I outside in the wind -"airbushing" was just using the airbrush foundation and put on like normal. She does not actually airbrush -no contour on anyone until she was asked and reminded - there is more but it's really upsetting. I'm trying to take it as I was and that at least on camera I look good. Lucky my bridesmaids were able to help and my photographers helped by getting angles that were not full or bobby-pins sticking up off my head. -I was told I didn't need a makeup or hair trial because everyone was so talented, that trials are more for brides then artists. The price wasn't set until I asked. And once we got there the fact I didn't have a hair or makeup trial was mentioned non stop. read more

I hired Michele and her team to do hair and make up for myself and my two bridesmaids for my wedding. I cannot rave enough about what an amazing job they all did! Michele and her team were very professional, very friendly and the work was outstanding. Michele recommended we do the bridal trial and I'm so glad she did. She generally seemed disorganized the entire time. She didn't know everyone on her team's name nor did she share all the hair inspo pics with her hair person. She made it extremely difficult for the bride to schedule hair and makeup trial then was passive aggressive because the bride didnt book the makeup trial. She arrived on time but took 2 extra hours than she told is it sould take. It felt like she prioritized taking photos for her portfolio/wedsite than meeting the timeline Despite being asked by bridal team, photographers and wedding planner to please get the bride done in the middle of everyone she put tge bride at the very end leading to her being rushed. Absolutely loved my makeup class with Michele. She made me feel comfortable right away and answered all my questions - which I had a lot. I knew I needed to update my skincare routine and Michele talked me through different product options for each step depending on my skin type and areas I wanted to address. You can tell Michele has taught many classes to makeup artists because she patiently helped me apply different techniques after she provided a model. Her descriptions have helped me to reproduce the look on my own. Michele and Elaine (her daughter) brought laughter and smiles to our day by the wonderful job they did on our make-up and their upbeat personalities. We enjoyed every moment we had with them. In order to tell you about Michele, I must first share something about myself. I had been in a battle with breast cancer...chemo, radiation, tons of surgeries, drugs, and all of that icky stuff. In the process, I lost my hair, brows, eyelashes, youthful complexion, and suffered hyperhydrosis. Not only did I not want pictures of myself, any makeup I put on would quickly turn me into a model for a Picasso painting. I was referred to Michele by her husband, my photographer. I had tried other makeup artists, explaining to them what I USE to look like and how hard it is to keep makeup on, and it was just a horrifying experience. Every time they tried, I turned out looking like a 100 year old prostitute trying to look like a 16 year old girl. But Michele was different. She asked me questions, listened, and then made a game plan. My maid of honor and I went to her for a makeup trial to see what she could do. We walked out of there like two Hollywood stars. But I still thought, 'yeah, let's see how this works at the wedding where I'm nervous and sweaty.' Michele showed up at 8:00 a.m. and got the entire bridal party ready, plus was there at the wedding for any touch ups, if needed. Well, touch ups were never needed. Embarrassing to say, but I sweated the entire wedding ceremony and reception, but my face remained perfect. I had eyebrows and defined eyes, and color. Michele did my wedding makeup a few weeks ago, and was so incredible!! I couldn't have been more thrilled with her work, her demeanor, and her professionalism. She's easy-going, easy to talk to, but also laser-focused and knows her craft up & down. My husband and I live in Los Angeles but got married at Ponte Winery in Temecula. I decided I wanted to find a local makeup artist, and Michele was one of the recommended vendors on the list that Ponte gave us. She and I emailed a bit before my trial and she was very patient in answering my (probably) myriad dumb questions. I realized right away, at the trial, that she 100% knew what she was doing and that I was in good hands. I was thrilled with my trial but she seriously stepped it up on my wedding day; I was even happier. She had to deal with many different personalities, in doing makeup for several of our family members, but she took it all in stride, like a pro. There were even some last-minute additions the day of the wedding...that also wasn't something that made her blink. I'm not someone who wears a ton of makeup on a daily basis, and at the trial wearing more makeup than I'm used to made me a little nervous. But she assured me that it's important to have enough makeup on for the photos...we just received some of our photos today and of course Michele was exactly right. I can't say enough kind words about Michele and her team! First off, having them there felt like an extension of family. Michele is just so sweet, nice and funny. Not only is she genuinely a good person but she is an amazing makeup artist! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day without me looking or feeling overly made up. It was such a beautiful look. And despite the fact that I cried, danced for hours and got quite sweaty, the makeup didn't budge!
