Originally she told me I was a great candidate/had perfect eyelids for permanent eyeliner, but once I was committed to the service it was another story. She explained it's not an exact science, we would need to play the shape of the tattoo and the duration of the work by ear. She doesn't listen. It's frustrating. I know what I like. I'm a very grown adult. I asked for brown, Carol said we have to do black. She doesn't like how brown fades. I asked for a thick, rounded arched line, Carol told me my eyelids wouldn't hold it. I ended up with a thin black line in a shape that's almost square, not round/arched like I was hoping for. It changes a lot about your look to have eyeliner with sharp edges on your eyes. I am really sad. But at that point it's a tattoo on your face. What can you do! It will need to be fixed by a different person. The worst part is Carol kept my $200 deposit to put toward a "future appointment" and still charged me full price on the day of the service. That's a terrible scammy business practice. I don't want a future appointment. So I'm just out of luck. She stole $200. Shame on you Carol. Listen to your clients! You may not like brown, it's my face! You should know by looking if you can't perform the service as requested. You behaved very cavalierly with someone else's money and eyes.

I was new to the Nashville area (shocker, lol) and I didn't have someone to ask for a referral so I did what most of us do and started searching hashtags on IG and Blakely's page came up. Her transformations were absolutely gorgeous!! My end goal was to create an arch in my brow, something that I did not have. I had dreams of my brows coming over the top of my glasses, I just always thought that was so sophisticated looking, lol. I reached out to her in Nov 2020 and secured an appointment with her in Jan 2021. When I went in I was terrified. Absolutely terrified. I didn't want to look like a different person, or an angry bird, I did not want to look fake (like stick on brows) and I didn't want to scare my husband when I got home. From the moment I walked in she was so kind and reassuring. She mapped out my brows expertly and she did a great job of explaining everything and re-explaining what she was doing as she was doing it. We decided on microblading and shadowing. You can tell she loves what she does because I don't know how many times she explains what she does all day to her clients but you could tell she was happy to comfort me through it with patience and calmness. She explained when it might hurt and the whole process. She is also really humble and such a pleasure to spend time with so that made the experience enjoyable as well. No one wants a beauty treatment from someone who is snotty or thinks they are better than you, I have been there and it's not fun. She was absolutely worth the wait!! She completely transformed my brows from light straight lines to a nice subtle dark arch. (see photo) Completely waking up my face! I could not even believe it and I don't know why I waited so long. I am 8 months in now and still so happy! I am sort of a baby with pain and I did not find the service to be painful during or through the healing process. Here is my before and after please note they look a little dark because it was the day of the service, they have healed a little lighter which I love! (see second photo 8 months later). I feel it elevated my look and makes getting ready so much easier than ever before. I can't even imagine having to color in my brows in anymore, one less thing to do which adds a level of simplicity to my life. It's crazy because these beauty treatments can be viewed as "extra" or not necessary but it really did change my life for the better. There are ways you can age gracefully without looking like you get a lot of work done... this is that service for me! :) 100% worth every penny! So happy to have found this amazing artist and person! Also, I am so excited that I just had my lip blushing appointment with her a few days ago (which also took me a few months to work up the nerve for) and I'm excited to share my results here soon... so far so good and just loving how it's brightened my face! She applied nothing to the area after threading, which I did think was odd, but I figured okay, she knows what she's doing. After a few days, my eyelids started to swell and dry out. This photo is from today and all I can do is continue to moisturize my eyelids and hope the swelling goes down. I went to her 8 days ago and am still dealing with this damage.

micro blading…read more..... My first experience ever getting my eyebrows, micro bladed, and it was by far the best!!!! Ghenwa is an absolute gem and goes above and beyond For her clients. I was completely amazed by my transformation. My eyebrows looked absolutely beautiful and natural, which is what I wanted. She matched the colors perfectly with my natural eyebrow color. I'm a very low maintenance and natural girl, but she definitely nailed it! They are absolute perfection! My confidence is so much better now because of it. If you're thinking about getting your eyebrows microbladed, I highly recommend her. He suggested I shower twice a day and use jergens lotion frequently to help the healing process. Thankfully I decided to get a second opinion. I stopped in at battleground because it's in my neighborhood and was blown away by the customer service and friendly staff. The owner Will went out of his way to take the time and explain to me the importance of aftercare to ward off infections and also prolong the longevity of you're tattoo. Free of charge he took me into his booth and showed me how to properly apply aqua for too it and have me a handout he gives all his clients easily explaining how to take care of it over the next four weeks. I had a suspicion my original artist had neglected to explain to me that importance and I am so glad I stopped in to meet Will because he most likely saved me a ton of trouble - remember this will be on my body for life and I want to take the best possible care available and me having not had a huge piece done before was ignorant to the fact. I will 100% be coming back to this parkour for my next tattoo and am so thankful for Will and his staff. A woman had originally answered the phone e and offered me some of her personally Tagaderm because I thought that is what I needed to help protect it. He walked us through the options and carefully explained the pros and cons of each approach in a way that we both could understand them. We agreed on the best approach and then he began to prep. We walked out of his office, cyst free. Everyone working there supported us through every step. My daughter, who was understandably nervous, told me that the nurse, Deana, made sure that she was comfortable and helped calm her, while still assisting Dr. Bengelsdorf. My daughter also said that Dr. Bengelsdorf was very, calming, and very nice, and that he talked to her throughout the procedure, letting her know what was going to happen. In the meantime, the receptionist, Trina, and the manager, Sarah, both supported me while I waited. Then, the next morning, after my daughter had a chance to rest, we went back to the office. Dr. Bengelsdorf taught her how to pack and dress the wound. But more importantly, his words gave her the confidence she needed to care for it herself. Last night and this morning, she wasn't afraid, she knew what to do and she knew it wouldn't hurt. She was so proud of herself because she cleaned the area, changed the packing, and dressed it all... by herself. They explained everything, they were incredibly supportive, there were no unnecessary tests, and my daughter feels confident taking care of herself... an extraordinary experience. I am incredibly grateful. Oh... and by the way... they also ran on time!
