Thank you to the Brentwood team for always being genuine and kind. You make my salon experience a relaxing one. I'm so happy that you are in my neighborhood. I've been going to Element Salon, Brentwood, for five and a half years and can't say enough about the fantastic stylists, management, and staff. All are professional & so knowledgeable in the products and services they provide. I'm greeted at the door every week with a friendly smile, always taking care of my needs. Let me tell you about my stylist, Charlotte! She has incredible blow-drying techniques, especially when working with my long, curly hair, leaving it looking straight and silky smooth. I go once a week for a shampoo blowout since I have a disability that makes it hard to wash and blow-dry my hair. I love, love balayage over foils! Josh is a master at applying color; he always makes my hair look so natural and beautiful! I've seen the work he's done on his other clients who want fun colors in their hair. Every time he's finished, the cut and coloring always look amazing! If you want purple, green, or even blue, you will be very happy with Josh's results. Element uses the best quality products of the L'Oreal line, Kerastase & Shu Uemura, which I've used in my hair for 14 years. When Charlotte is finished, there's so much shine that it lasts me until the next week. When L'Oréal discontinued the permanent color used for my base, Charlotte and Josh put their heads together and devised a formula that's a perfect replacement. It turned out looking amazing! Thank you, Charlotte; I appreciate you and your incredible work on my hair every week!! Thank you, Josh, for always being so thorough and professional in everything you do!

My stylist was super sweet and really listened to what I wanted instead of just rushing through the appointment. I have slightly wavy hair and she showed me a couple of easy ways to style it so it actually looks good on normal days too. The whole salon feels really calm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. My hair hasn't looked this healthy in a while and I've already gotten a few compliments. Definitely coming back next time. ‍

The first cut my sideburns way too high instead of middle ear as I asked and didn't square the back as I asked, And she failed the eyebrows as I asked. The second also cut the sideburns too high but did square the back as I wanted. The problem was she failed to use vasoline or something else to prevent the black dye from staining my head on the front, back and sides. I looked ridiulious. It took lots of medical grade rubbing alcohol and two weeks of daily rubbing the alcohol on my skin to get it off. It cost $107 each time for the screwed up haircut. NEVER AGAIN!!! I went to Sports Clips and got the haircut perfectly done for $28 including tip. And I went to Sally Beauty to get the needed hair dye and application stuff to do it myself in just 45 minutes with great results.

I've bought a few hair products from the salon too after trying them out at my appointment and getting recommendations, and my hair has never felt or looked healthier! The whole process from shampooing (they use Oribe! ) to the cut, blow dry, and style feels so luxurious and relaxing. The salon is clean and everybody is very welcoming. I would recommend booking a few weeks out! The appointment times do get filled out so plan in advance.

After I kindly addressed this, they invited me back for a fix, but the stylist removed my natural highlights, dyed my hair one flat color, and spilled dye on my sweater and neck. I was asked to return a third time, where the owner applied bleach without foils, leaving me with patchy, uneven orange highlights. When I called back, the owner dismissed it as a "money issue," claiming I wanted a style I couldn't afford, which was untrue. Everyone I know agrees my hair looks red and orange. Avoid this place. Upon check in, I was given a robe and slippers (lockers are provided) and once changed, was taken to a lounging room. There were various kinds of tea, water and a nice selection of nuts to snack on while waiting for the treatments to begin. Massage was with Zoe Greene--she asked all the right questions and we talked about what kind of massage I wanted and it was wonderful and relaxing. The facial was with Kelly Martin. I've had several facials in the past and this was by far one of the best! She explained everything she was doing and what she was putting on my face. My skin felt so good after the facial. Luxury mani/pedi was with Jennafer Rilling. Sweet girl who took her time and shaped my nails that way I liked. Would definitely recommend The Spa at Leiper's Fork!

Finished paper work and then waited. After about 10 minutes the technician came and got me. She asked any problem spots? I said I was training for a 5k for this weekend. Once in the room she told me to undress and get under the sheet. Which I did, then about 10 minutes later she came back. So this is included in the 60 minutes I was told . So already it's 10 minutes less than the 60 minutes. I don't think it takes 10 minutes to undress. Maybe 3 minutes. She started with pressure on my back. Remember I asked for Swedish massage. But what I got was deep tissue, I guess. A lot of time on my back. Hardly anytime on my legs. When I flipped over she did do some shoulder work but not enough. A little more on my legs. During the massage there was NO aroma therapy. Which I've been to other places always aroma therapy. What they can't afford a diffuser? Very inexpensive device. And she only used lotion not oils which I'm used to. Overall experience I would say fast cheap and you probably don't get your moneys worth. And they want you to sign up for a package. Nope! Don't waste your money.
