I needed to replenish my Studio Fix Fluid Foundation for full coverage so I grabbed a bottle in my matched color. I was also looking for some eyeshadow to try and the staff/artists were knowledgeable and was able to find a shade that works with my outfit that I plan to wear for a friend's bridal shower. There were a few other shades that we tried which looked good, but I felt that the staff wanted to sell me this product which I didn't need at the time. They also offered makeup services where you can get a full glam or natural look, and the cost can go toward product purchases, which is a nice bonus. I will try that next time I come back for shopping. As for the store, I do like their specials and sales. The inside of this store is somewhat clean, sleek and modern, and filled with rows of vibrant shades that immediately catch your attention. I was pleasantly surprised to know that there is a manicurist available by appointment, too! It's not JUST a hair salon! I told the owner, Karina, exactly what I wanted, showed her pictures etc., & that's exactly what I received & then some! She started by giving me a scalp massage, which was an added bonus bc I'm ALWAYS tense! She also left me with to-go samples of some products that are readily available for purchase at her salon. But, the best thing is that I LOVED my hair! The cut was exactly what I wanted; & when she started styling it in a way I didn't like, she did not mind my asking for something different! Also, my style lasted almost a week! (I was only forced to wash it out because my hair became naturally too oily. But I am convinced that it would have lasted even longer if I wasn't so OCD about clean hair.) But-because I have curly hair, the tell-all was when I washed it. JoAnn Salgado replied to my request quickly for an updo hairstyle and make-up for the wedding as a…read moremother of the groom plus a girlfriend for a total makeover.  Jo Ann is very professional, and from the very start of our discussions, she laid out plans on how and what we should be putting together such as our preferred hairstyles and glam makeup.  She's very detailed in her approach and scheduled a digital meeting before the week of the actual day.   On our actual scheduled day, she came right on time, complete with all her essential tools and devices from lights to two set of chairs and other make-up paraphernalia. JoAnn took her time and in no way rushing in styling an updo for me and also with my girlfriend that worked very well with our preferred hairstyles.  Also, based on her expertise, she suggested hairstyles best suited to our face shapes, which was in sync with our chosen styles.
