I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the service we received from Yasmin today. I wish I had read previous reviews as many customers have unfortunately said the same thing.
I booked a spa treatment through Groupon for myself and my mom, as I've just finished a very difficult course and needed some pampering. I rang for over a week at different times and was unable to get through. I went back to Groupon to cancel, but they gave me a mobile number, and eventually I was able to get through.
When we arrived, my mom put down that she had epilepsy on the form. Yasmin didn't ask whether she had a doctor's note, her first words to my mom (before she even introduced herself was) "you can't have a massage due to your health conditions". There was no offer of an alternative treatment, no empathy or compassion, just point blank "it's on our website, we're not doing anything for you". Regardless of the fact that my mom has had numerous massages, even if Yasmin had approached us in a better way, with more respect, then we wouldn't have been fine, but she continued to be confrontational and aggressive. I even asked her why she was having an attitude and she scoffed at me! Eventually she said, she can have a "facial" and a "facial" and I was like, why would my mom need two facials? She doesn't have two faces....
I have never experienced anything like it, and I have numerous massages! I am so disgusted, as I thought that we had come a long way in terms of our customer service! Obviously Beauty by Yasmin didn't get the customer service memo! Use them at your own risk!
I can't even say that they gave a good massage, because I was so disgusted by their behaviour towards us, that we didn't even stay.
I have since complained to Groupon and I would advise anyone who values the experience as much as the massage, to stay far away from Beauty By Yasmin! More like Death by Attitude! read more
