I went to Beauty Clinic to get a microderm/facial. I took a little over an hour. Jutka was amazing. She has a very calming presence and I come out feeling relaxed and my skin rejuvenated. For those of you who work during the week, she does work on Saturdays. They are located in the bottom floor of a 2 story building located off Ventura Blvd across the street from the Marriott. There is a free parking lot you can access through the back alley between Sherman Oaks Avenue or Firmament Avenue. The lot is quite small so you may have to park on the street. My best friend, Jessica, decided to give me a facial as a birthday present this year and knowing how stressed out I've been since I started working, a facial was a great way to start off on my journey to some relaxation. I practically work everyday and finally have a chance to claim my vitamin c facial today. Since this is my first facial, I did expect a lot coming in and to my expectations, they did a great job and felt really relaxed and calm. Though my face was a mess, she took the time to properly clean out my pores and blackheads. This was an extremely great present from my bestest. My esthetician was nice and sweet, also talked me as I was getting my facial. I would definitely be back for another one, maybe I'll try a different facial or a massage. My only downside is parking was hard to find because we didn't know there was a alley you have to go through for the private parking lot. To do, or not to do is the question! As an aging person with some cellulite and fat issues in the mid-section of my body, I was contemplating for years to try or not to try the endermologie treatment I've heard about so much. Due to the excellent results a friend of mine had at Beauty Clinic, I decided to finally give this kind of treatment a shot. Only after a few sessions with Jutka, I can definitely see improvement, and I'm very excited to continue with this. The result I see is that, the dimples got less visible. She is a very caring and gentle person. She has answered all of my questions in great detail before I started the series of treatments and constantly makes sure that, I'm comfortable during the treatment. If anybody wants to try this, it's important to drink lots of water. Now, I see the reason why the endermologie treatment is an FDA approved procedure. It works, it's not a gimmick.Though I'm not willing to post a picture of my belly and surrounding area, I may post an update of my progress at a later time. At a different occasion I've also tried the slimming body wrap, which was also great. This too brought me results, I've lost about an inch. Just don't do it! My best friend heard about one of her promotions at a school event. $50 for 3 separate spa sessions, sounds like a great deal right?! So she bought two, one for me and one for her. I had just had a baby and she wanted to treat me. And we immediately regretted it. First we find out The Beauty Clinic isn't actually a "Spa"...it's a lady, who does spa treatments in an office building suite. So because this was not an actual spa with different specialist to cater to you have to work around HER schedule. We had a kid-free day and called her up, after a week of her not returning our messages she finally called back and said she was on vacation...we started to worry that this may be a scam. We waited until we had another free day but she was closed on Sundays and Mondays....we called when we had another free day day but it turns out you have to book Saturdays more than a month in advance....so between her availability and ours,(me being a married mom of 3 and my friend being a full time teacher...it was almost 5 months before we could get an appointment. We get to the office ready for our treatments...I will post the card laying out everything we were supposed to get, she did maybe 3 things out of the 8 things...we tipped her anyway. We were both supposed to get scalp massages, my white friend got the scalp massage, I being African-American was not even offered one. By now the expiration date on the original promotion had expired, but she graciously agreed to extend it. We were thankful for that. So after months of trying to get another appointment we finally had our second session today. As soon as we got there she let us know that this would be our last because it had been so long...even though we paid for 3 sessions. And she didn't even complete the first one. She looked at the card of what we were supposed to get done today and offered us a brazilian wax OR a back treatment and that's it. I told her this was a big waste of money...she did not take kindly to that and let my friend know (during her treatment) that she was upset about what I had said and that she had been nice enough. Then instead of us both getting our seperate full treatments she informed us she would be doing us both at the same time, walking back and forth between the two of us. And only gave us the back treatments. No consultations at either session, no detixifying mask at this session, no wax at this session, and nothing else promised that we paid for. Again my white friend was given a scalp massage...she would not touch my hair this time either. It's not for me to say why, she knows. So Instead of 3 full sessions we got maybe one and a quarter, after we were done she tapped us and to get dressed and we just walked out. DO NOT PAY THIS LADY BEFORE YOU GET YOUR SERVICES EVER!!!! And unless you want to work around HER schedule...don't bother with her at all, especially not her promotions, she takes your money and then does WHAT she feels like WHEN she feels like. I came here with a LivingSocial deal and came back for more treatments. She was great with processing the deal and I had no issues whatsoever. It's been easy making appointments with her and I'm able to text her to make changes to upcoming appointments as well. I've seen incredible results. I've tried other locations for endermologie and they have been wonderful as well but can't beat Jutka's prices and outcomes.
