At checkout, that same staff member (Danielle) charged me for the arm add-on, which ended up doubling the total. When I brought it up, I was told it wasn't actually "complimentary???" I wouldn't have agreed to it otherwise, especially since my arms weren't an area I was looking to treat. It felt like I was taken advantage of and forced into an additional service I didn't want. Felt like a bait and switch. What made this more unfortunate is that I was genuinely interested in becoming a regular client and had even asked about referral options, since I have friends who were interested in coming as well. This experience made me hesitate, because trust and transparency are really important. Idk if there was bad intent, but the communication around treatments and pricing should be much more direct. I completed the required forms multiple times to the best of my ability. At no point did anyone clearly tell me what was supposedly missing or incorrect. Instead, my appointment was canceled at the last minute after I had already rearranged my entire day. On top of that, the owner later claimed that I had not entered a credit card, even though the booking was made and paid through ClassPass. If there was any confusion on her end about how the session was paid, she could have checked her ClassPass account or contacted me to clarify. At a minimum, she should have recognized that the appointment was booked through ClassPass and handled the situation accordingly instead of placing the blame on me. ClassPass did refund the session fee, but that does not fix the real problem. I lost time and income because I relied on a confirmed appointment that this business chose not to honor. What concerns me most is the owner's response. When I raised the issue, instead of showing concern for the disruption or taking any responsibility, she immediately blamed me and insisted the situation was entirely my fault. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that the communication process failed, and no sign that she understood or cared about the impact on my schedule. For me, this shows a lack of professionalism and accountability. A business that dismisses a customer's time, overlooks basic booking information, and then responds defensively when given feedback is not one I can recommend. Based on my experience, I would strongly discourage others from booking here.
