I have had a horrible experience with Gayla at sprout salons. She charged me $2800 just to…read morepurchase 8 wefts of 22" hair. Turns out she was marking up the hair 100%! This is unheard of. Unfortunately, that did not include the dye or the install; which was another $600. For some reason, I actually thought the hair was that expensive, until someone showed me an invoice where they purchased 22 inch strands of humanity hair for $170 per weft. She also did not match my hair and I have short hair, yet she installed hair with 3 inch dark roots. I looked like an idiot. I had to go to another salon to cut my hair to blend with the extensions as she could not fit me in for 5 days; her suggestion was to add another row of hair to help blend (this was the last thing needed- I didn't need more hair; I needed a proper hair cut to blend). My beads started popping through the extensions by week 2. By week 7 my wefts were coming undone (see photo). Attached are copies of the invoices she sent to me to purchase the hair and a copy of what strands of humanity charges for 22" weft of the strand (which is what she installed on me). The first invoice was for six wefts, she then charged me an additional $700 to get an additional two wefts of hair because six wefts would not have worked. I didn't realize I was being bamboozled until I saw how much strands of humanity charges. I have never had such a bad experience with hair extensions. Tip and everything I spent $3700 for hair that I wouldn't wear if someone paid me. (The strands of humanity hair is great, however the hair she chose for me doesn't match my actual hair and the install was below par). Gayla ruined hair extensions for me. I had them removed today. $3700 down the drain!

The lighting is not that great in this salon, so it was hard to tell how my color turned out. But it is dark. Darker than anything I have ever had done And the highlites? I paid for highlites, where are they ? I used their own wording to tell them what I wanted to have done, " Dimensional blonde with beach waves " I didn't get demensional highlites, I got dark hair with some highlites. But this is dark, almost red brown. Then I go to pay and the bill comes out to $400. !!!! Never in my entire life have I paid $400 for my hair. Maybe some of you pay this much, but I never have. $150 is a good average for my hair. I was so astonished, I didn't know what to say. But at home I went over this in my mind & it really bothered me. So I called & talked to the owner and told her how upset I am. She went over my costs and found that I had been charged TWICE for the haircut. And her costs have gone up, her hair color has gone up $40 so she has to charge me 3 times what it costs to color my hair. I always leave a nice tip for my hair stylist, but when all was done it ended up costing me $402.00 for this nothing special hair And I never did get my demensional highlights. The owner promised me a refund and its been two weeks and not a dime has come back to me. Not even the over charging. I finally contacted my bank to see if they could do anything. And I tried to call but I guess my phone is blocked. The bottom line is this place is dishonest. They over charge. Because her cost of hair color went up $40 she charges you 3 times that much. And if they charge you for two hair cuts when you only got one.. well I guess thats ok too. Dishonesty. Does not keep her word. I will never go here again, and I am ashamed that a shop will behave this way. And I still have to go to someone else to get the hair I had hope to get at this place. The eyebrow tech literally waxed, and that was all, didn't cut the hair, or pluck remaining hairs. The gel manicure was so amateurish I couldn't believe I paid $96. It will surely peel off within the week. Go elsewhere for these services.

Left sun glasses here last time. We called several times to remind that we will be there to get them. We were told they are saving them for us. . No one knew about them today. Do not leave anything behind!! Receipt for services was a long thin strip of paper, not even an inch thick. Checking out when your friends and family call or order expensive gift certificates for you may be a hassle. Be prepared to find your codes! I am not certain if gift certificates are appreciated here, even when hundreds of dollars are spent to surprise us with amazing experiences at the most impressive places possible.
