This new management has really exceeded the bar when it comes to customer service in a nail spa. I use to come here faithfully a few years back but the staff THEN made me feel like they were doing me a favor. The staff NOW is exceptional. The way they teamwork together to help each other with customers and assist each other in resetting stations was an endearing and rare sight to see. Now when it came to the customer, my person verified what I asked so it would be completely to my liking before preceding! What nail spa in this area is doing that across the board. If you have been away from this spot for a few years, like I have, this is your sign to give this place another chance. I promise you will not be disappointed. I was not asked to write a review or post a picture. Nor was I offered any discount or deal for posting a review. I came to V Spa again last week for my wedding nails after another salon near me discouraged the style I wanted, saying it would end up too see through. I'm so glad I decided to come here instead. Sky worked with me and truly made my dream nails a reality. He mixed colors, tested options, asked for my input, and was so patient throughout the process. It made the whole experience enjoyable. 10/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Back story - my wife & I have been going to a personal nail tech for about three years, however, she unfortunately is no longer doing nails. We were heartbroken - so much so that we hadn't got our nails done for almost three months due to the fear of trying someone new/going back to a regular salon. We've been living in Spring for 4 years and so many nail salons that we've tried have underperformed. So to give this salon a 10/10 should speak volumes. We came here yesterday (Saturday, around 5pm) and immediately greeted upon entering. The salon is very nice, clean and aesthetically pleasing (a nail tech later informed us they got new owners about a year ago and remodeled the shop). I've honestly never been to a salon where they provide the type of customer service that we received, it was refreshing. We were immediately asked if we wanted drinks (I got the Watermelon Margarita and my wife got the Blue Hawaiian) - they even asked if we wanted refills! They also have red and white wine, sodas and water. The gentleman working the front desk was communicative and personable. All of the staff seem very kind. The owner checked in on everyone and made the sure the service was executed. To note, the salon chairs are not the regular salon chairs (with the massage feature) but they are more modern to fit the vibe/style of the salon. Light music was playing and the shop didn't seem chaotic like some others. "Rum" and "Ngoc" were my nail techs and "Natalie" was my wife's nail tech - all of them achieved the exact look we asked for. We will remember their names for future visits. We also got a discount since it was our first time. I felt like we got what we paid for and more! We can honestly say we finally found a new nail salon to call home. read more

I came here for a pedicure because it had decent reviews and I was short on time to go anywhere further. Never again. It did not look as clean as it did in the pictures. Customer service was okay at best. All I wanted was a French tip pedicure. My nail tech could not do it and was doing a super thick French tip. I told him it was too thick and that I would just do a solid color. He also used a cuticle cutter and tools that were not new from a package on me. It was just not a good experience over all. read more

Had an amazing pedicure spa service for myself and my daughter's. The service was great, and everyone gave off a vibe like they actually loved their job. The upgraded to the salon definitely give it a welcoming environment. The actual service was amazing, my girls loved their nails and mostly their massages. I came to this salon because my nail tech, Candy, recently moved to this salon. Now I wish that I didn't. Candy's work, professionalism and friendliness has really gone downhill since she arrived here. Plus, the technicians are very rude here. The technicians were watching a very political channel and I asked to switch to the Food Channel because it was apolitical. They initially refused and talked very loudly about me in another language (including Candy). Eventually, the receptionist changed to the Food Network. Also, this salon is outdated and looks cheap. This salon does not have the typical spa pedicure massage chairs. Instead they have regular, boucle white chairs that are stained and dirty. It is very difficult trying to adjust your seat because the customer has to physically move it in order to get to the faucet and foot-bath (the foot-bath is not attached to the chair the way it would be in a professional salon). As a result, the faucet often gets in the way and the technician has to continuously work around it during the pedicure. This salon has the same dirty white chairs at the stations for the manicures. read more

This is the best nail salon I've ever been too. I have really long nails and always do very complicated designs and they never break the gyms never fall off and I work in a bar so I'm always using my hands and knocking them on things. First nail salon I tried in Houston. Saw the high ratings and had high hopes. The 4.9 star salon was EMPTY the day before Valentine's Day which seemed very odd to me. An older man did my one color gel manicure, doing, what seemed to be, a mediocre job at everything. He filed my nails leaving lots behind, the dust, cuticle, and random edges. The dust would have been fine if he had actually wiped it all off before we continued onto the polish. The base coat must have been very old because my nails came out of the lamp cracked and messed-up looking. He followed this with a polish and top coat that didn't look as old as the base coat. After all the coats were done, he finished his filing. This is probably the worst manicure I've gotten, even compared to myself doing it. read more

I went here loyally for several years. I stopped after one awakening visit. I was told to sit at foot spa tub that had not been clean and had nail clippings in it. I thought this was unusual, so I just asked for my tub to be cleaned, but everyone made a big deal of it. Someone decided to splash some water around the tub to please me, but did not use soap or any disinfectant. I asked for them to use either of the two and they decided to put a squirt of hand sanitizer on a foot scrubber and rub it around the tub. I refused to get a pedicure at this point until they thoroughly cleaned it and Kim, my regular tech, decided to finally use some soap to clean the tub. At this point, I realized I hadn't really seen them clean a tub in the many years I had been going and I only decided to stay because my mom was with me being serviced. What a shame. read more
