You get what you pay for. this is the line that describes this place. They work by membership, meaning you pay a month for an amount of points that you can use in services such as mani- pedi, wax and facials. The tanning booth is free for the members. Ive been a memeber for over a year and I have minimal complains. I go online, pick whoever I want out of the staff and schedule my appt. They are usually running about 5 min late, which is great because I'm always late anyways. they do chelac manicures, and acid peels too. for 40 bucks, i can not complain about the noise or the delay. in what other place in miami can you get a facial and bikini/leg wax for less than 40 bucks? read more

I sent them an email asking to cancel my membership with extremely constructive feedback as to why I was canceling. They did not reply to my email, did not apologize for the bad experience, and most importantly-- still charged me one week later for the membership I had canceled. I HATE giving bad social media PR to businesses as I am a startup business owner myself. However, when a company shows they are not accepting private feedback nor respecting customers' wishes to cancel, I have no choice but to use this opportunity to try to help others avoid having such a negative experience by providing feedback publically here. The manager seemed lovely--- I believe she is the manager, and did all of the talking with me as the employees can't because she is the only one who speaks English. The effort she was making was definitely appreciated. But unfortunately she was not the person doing my nails and something is extremely wrong with the way the nails technicians are getting trained at this salon.  I wasn't thrilled with the job that was done the first time--- it was sloppy, painted outside the nail lines with shellac, and started to chip after 3 days which is not normal for a shellac manicure. But the membership prices were really good, so I thought maybe if I got somebody else next time it would be better or maybe that shellac polish that I had picked out was a really old bottle and was just unpopular. Unfortunately, the mani/pedi I got the 2nd time was really bad...might be the worst I've ever gotten.  I always tip well regardless because I know people have bills to pay and they're relying on that.    --- The water for both my pedicure and manicure was cold. I have no cosmetology license, but even I know that warm water is non-negotiable when doing nails as it is responsible for opening up the pores and softening the skin.  Cold water hardens skin and closes the pores. Using tools on hardened skin is extremely dangerous and painful. ---The pedicure couch is not comfortable, and the customer is forced to hunch forward which is not relaxing.  But the icing on the cake was that my nail technician stacked 2 of these rubber things to support my foot, and they kept falling over and so did my foot.  She just kept restacking them like it was a normal occurrence.  I literally had to hold my feet up throughout the pedicure which strained my back. --- She was so rough with the tools and it REALLY hurt.  I've had hundreds of mani/pedis.  This HURT. The way she picked my cuticles...they weren't that bad and she literally attacked my toes and fingers! And to clean up the polish at the end of the pedicure, she dipped a metal SHARP tool in nail polish remover to clean around the nail. This tool is what is usually used to scrape off shellac gel after soaking fingers in acetone. OUCH.  Why is she using a sharp tool instead of a brush or the wooden stick to wipe nail polish off the delicate skin around my nails? --- NO lotion was used on the my hands or feet whatsoever!  A MANI/PEDI WITHOUT LOTION?! NO FOOT RUB OR HAND MASSAGE?! The minute with lotion is the best part and this salon does not do it!  And I left with rough feet and dry hands! I have NEVER had a mani/pedi with no lotion or at least oil if it's a really rural area. I guess there is a first for everything. --- I understand there's a language barrier, but she did not even say "Hola, como estas" to me! Not even a smile.  She saw I was struggling to plug in my phone in the outlet at the pedicure couch before we started, but she just watched me as I struggled climbing over things.  At least make the effort to say "Hi," "Where are you from" "You live here?" "How is the water." And had she tried to talk to me in Spanish, I would have tried to answer! - My nails were not filed right at all. Some of my nails were rounded, others were squared, and had sharp corners on the sides digging into my skin. One of my fingers she cut so low -- My nail beds were never pushed down. - They put two acrylic tips on my nails which had cracked from the previous job THEY had done. These tips fell off 2 days later. - 5 days later my fingers were still in pain so I ended up going to a dermatologist and spent $115 for that appointment to make sure there was no infection in my nails. The doctor advised me to not go to discount salons like this--- especially when getting SHELLAC manicures. - I went to a different salon to get my nails redone because it had all chipped off in less than a week and I wanted a legitimately cosmetology licensed professional to fix whatever this woman had damaged. I am SO REGRETFUL that I saw their billboard in Mary Brickell village and fell for their free lip wax with mani-pedi special! There is something extremely wrong with the way their nail staff is being trained and the fact that they never apologized after reading my email and still charged me is just unprofessional. I purchased a Groupon for this salon & it was only worth what I paid for. I chose the $10 mani option but asked for a mani & pedi at my appointment. They charged me $30 just for the regular pedi & according to their "Premium Service List" a regular Mani + Pedi is $45...I saved a whole =$5 (INSERT EYE ROLL). I probably spent that remaining $5 on gas to get there. They have a membership program (I was not given details) that allows a person to pay less than standard pricing. The mani & pedi itself was OK at first and two days later I saw hang nails and chipping polish. I personally like when salons open a personalized set of tools for mani & pedis but this salon uses the same set for everyone. My lady pulled the tools out from her drawer without any kind of plastic wrapping or clear indication of being sterilized before using it again.. The environment was pretty at least. Clean and trendy design. There was one questionable outlet too close to the pedicure water basin but oh well. The staff ONLY SPEAKS SPANISH! I speak Spanish fluently and this still annoyed me. However, they were kind and welcoming. Gave me coffee and all the typical compliments to butter up a person for more services. Horrible place. Before even getting here, parking and finding the place is difficult so I called the place three times within a 20 min span and nobody answers the phone. Finally I find the place (bc apple maps says it across the street) and nobody speaks English. I had an appointment for 10am and there's one customer and one lady doing nails. My person I made an appointment Adiela is nowhere to be found. This place has got to be a cover up because no business can operate like that and still be functioning. Worse place ever. Apparently, its sister salon in South Miami is a much better place based on Maria A.'s review. The business has a great concept but poor execution. The Brickell location is seriously understaffed which means that on a Saturday, you can face a four hour wait for your non-appointment mani/pedi. The same ladies who do the pedicures also do the facials and hair removal. If there are only two hard-working ladies on staff and 8 lovely ladies in the waiting area then you've got a problem Houston. This location will not take appointment and it will not take your name and call you when there's an opening so you can wait comfortably at the Starbucks downstairs. What's the point of an unlimited monthly package if you can never get in? After two months of being patient, I cancelled my contract. The services are performed well. HORRIBLE! They did such a terrible job on my hands and feet, so bad that I had to go back a day later to have them repaint the gel polish. They were really rude about it too when I came back. The manicurist made me soak my fingers in acetone instead of wrapping them in aluminum foil and cotton balls. My fingers started to burn as she was punishing me for complaining about the manicure. My boyfriend purchased a Groupon for this place as a birthday present. They do not accept walk-ins, so instead we made an appointment for a week after my desired day. I found out that if you are unable to make your appointment, you are charged $15.00! The day of my appointment, I got there early and I had to wait 15-20 minutes past my appointment time. Something that struck me about this place was how gossipy that ladies were. They talked amongst each other and one of them (Blanca) was particularly mean and rude to another lady (Candy). The lady who did my nails (Ariel) was nice, I suppose, but spoke badly of "all chinese nail places"because they were too fast and exclaimed that Cuban people talked really loudly and spoke with a sense of superiority. She did a terrible job! I wanted to get gel done and we had to pay an additional $15.00, even though we had a groupon. My boyfriend paid $32 for a pedicure and manicure. So in total we paid $47.00 plus tip. Hardly a deal at all. Especially considering that the gel manicure was really poorly done--it was messy and colored outside the nail and uneven, etc. The minute I got out of the place I started to take it off; I wanted to cry! I had just paid $47.00 plus $5.00 tip, spent THREE hours listening to gossipy ladies and walked out extremely unhappy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Girls are loyal to their manicurists for a reason. A few weeks ago I was crunched for time and in desperate need of a manicure but my place was booked. I was skeptical, but my coworker is a regular at Beauty Full Days so I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake... The place was understaffed so my manicurist had to man the phone while she manned my mani...not a good combo. The mani took double the time it was supposed to and had completely peeled off within 24 hrs. I called, complained, and was promised a gratis polish change the next day which I begrudgingly went in for. They "squeezed" me in, meaning I was put on rotation and 4 different ladies worked on my manicure, which was still underwhelming. You can keep your Beauty Full Day thankyouverymuch. read more

What a find!!!! I am only in town for a few days and desperately needed my acrylics removed and a manicure. EVERYONE was so sweet and Candy removed the acrylics like a total boss. Made an appointment to come in for a pedicure and Express manicure/ polish change. I found this company on Groupon. I purchased two pedicure/ Express manicures. I received a call from a person who claimed to be the owner, 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment and she told me not to come in. I was told to call Groupon and ask for my money back . What professional business does this ??? I have a schedule and things to do. If this was a problem I should have been told at the time of the appointment. She claims she ran the add in July / August and even through the Groupon doesn't expire till December 27 th 2017, she wasn't ok with that. Nightmare! I signed up for six months and they auto renew you. I tried canceling 3 times with the manager Miriam. Finally after three months I was able to get a refund. Never again. Just because they offer facials does not make it a spa. The place is so tiny, while you are supposed to be relaxing you can hear the employees cackling in the other room. I totally disagree with the last reviews. These ladies were GREAT! Appts are a must because this place is always booked! And they DO take Saturday and Sunday appts for our convinience. I made an appt for Saturday at 5pm. The wonderful lady called at around 4pm to see if i wanted to come in earlier cuz one of the other appts was a no show. Very nice of her. The service was great. I was going to get a Groupon with three but called the salon to verify the appointment and they said I could book directly with them. When I got there I had to wait for 25 minutes because their employee was stuck in traffic and when she finally arrived I didn't receive the full spa pedicure as described on the package, no aloe scrub, foot mask or warm towel. Best spa salon experience in a long time! It's always been a struggle trying to find someone to dye my dark hair as light as I want it and I finally found the place! The stylist was amazing she knew exactly what shade to use to lighten my roots in order to make the blonde seem more natural. She was so friendly asking about my day and engaging in interesting conversation. Made sure to check up on the color while it dried and knew how long my hair could withstand the chemicals and still keep it looking healthy.They gave me some yummy champagne and made it such a relaxing experience. No hair pulling, no cold water hair washes, comfy head rest and styling chair! Last but not least AMAZING prices for beyond amazing results the first time around. I came here because of a Groupon and the convenience of being close to where i live. I made an appointment but they called me to inform me they were running 30 minutes behind (which I appreciated) so I rescheduled for the following day. The following day the same thing occurred thus I rescheduled again for the following day, Saturday. On Saturday. I arrived 30 min late to my appointment. Apparently, the manicurist had to leave since it was 5pm. I was fine with that but the lady who attended me stated that she had one who does nails; other lady pedicures (strange) but the latter was busy with other customer. Instead of having the lady who was doing morning but playing on her phone do my nails first i had to wait for pedicurist. To make matters worse, the lady who attended me sat down to do a young girl's (about 10 yrs old) acrylic nails (it appeared it was her daughter, niece etc) and left me waiting. Finally the clientele is boujee as one customer was talking on speakerphone, for all to hear, with a male friend in a ridiculous fashion. In summary, a very unprofessionally establishment. I will give an average star because my first experience was a disaster with the previous manager at this location about a year ago. We drove one hour with my friend on her bday, for a girl time" I was giving her as a present. The manager was on the phone with us as she gave us incorrect directions and we parked in the opposite site of Mary Brickell. She new we were lost and finally we arrived for hour appointment 5 min late due to the directions mishap. She rejected our appointments!, even thought she was with us on the phone with 5 min before when we were getting her instructions how to reach their place. I told her she should have told us that before. She was very unprofessional! They have a new manager and things are much better now. The ladies work hard and all of them are very nice. The ambiance is relaxing an friendly. The prices are really affordable. Significant improvement! The only problem is getting somebody to answer the phones as they do not have a receptionist. If I could give ZERO I would give zero. I had a bad expirence the first time I went, made the mistake of going again and even worst. To summarize my expirence (and I usually never write bad PR on anyone, nor am I looking for free things) but The first time polish crunched on me and I had an interview for a job so I had to run and did not have time for them to re do my nails. I left and they told me to come back and get them fixed. BEcause I am not a mooching kind of person I didn't expect it to be re done and understand mistakes happen. BUT now I went back to give them a try. I remembered the VERY nice and professional nail lady had told me that Mondays and Tuesdays they have discounts on mani's and Pedi's. So I called on a Monday and asked what specials they had, the owner said Mondays and Tuesdays they have manis and pedis at $35.00. I continued to make the appointment and decided to remove my own gel on my hands and on my feet I only had the clear gel so I figured I would pay the extra and have it removed there once I arrived. I showed up 25 mins before my appointment and they were able to start me, but then told me that they would only be able to go my hands not my feet???? Well My appointment was at 2 pm, I showed up at 1:35 and they don't have time for my mani pedi? Even though I was early. They made some lame excuse that they didn't even understand and I said ok if someone else will do my pedi that is fine. The owner walked around as I was still on my mani lady and she told me " you did know mani and pedi is $45 right?" And I said yes, plus Monday and Tuesday's there is a special, and she jumped right in to correct herself and say " $45 minus 15%" which is NOT what she told me on the phone. But I nodded and went on, understanding that she was trying to bamboozle me with the price. I was not going to fight over a few bucks. As the different pedi lady started she went to file the nails before putting the gel polish remover foils and went SO hard that she actually made holes on the center of my nails and now I have bare skin on two nails and almost on another nail. As I told her to stop and do not file any more of my nails so felt terrible. But feeling terrible is not going to cure my nail or care skin on the nail. I could not polish my nails as now I have to get my nails healed. I went to check out with the owner and she said "Even though you didn't get polish I will still have to charge you $45 for the manu and pedi" What the hell?? First, it was not my choice not to paint my nails but your nail lady ruined my nails and left them like care skin, SO PAINFUL!!!!! And I proceeded to see her arrogance and ignorance in being a business owner and caring about her customers. As if she had 5 starts on Yelp. I told her I was willing to pay the $35 they told me on the phone and not because they deserve to get paid but just to get her out of my face and I had more morals than she did.Her answer to me was why didn't you get up and leave when she hurt you. Well I did! But then again I was talking to a lady that was trying to bamboozle me into paying more than what the prices is. I went home so SO upset I googled them and saw that they have groupons that say their mani and pedis are $65 and that they have a "discount" but in reality their mani and pedis are $45 and charging the groupon $39. My first pedicure there, about six months ago, wasn't bad, except that no one speaks English there. The second experience, a few days ago, was dreadful. The technician cut me as she was trimming my big toenail, and my toe just bled and bled and she went on with the pedicure. A painted toenail dotted with blood? Huh? So i kept pointing it out to her and she would blot it and it kept bleeding. I was sitting right next to the receptionist stand, so I tried to get her attention. It took three tries (and the woman was at most two feet awat from me), when I almoust had to shout to get her attention, and she brought over this fluid that helped stop the bleeding. The pedicure itself was pretty minimal; I went there to savemoney but learned my lesson. The fumes in the back room are awful but they have a front room which isn't so smelly. read more
