Second time braiding Started an hour and a half after appt…read moretime so I wasn't too happy with that, but I know that happens often and I'm used to it. I got box braids this time and they looked Fantastic the first week. Lovvvved them. The owner started the braids and then had two other women finishing them so they were done in under two hours! This is how to not be in the chair all day people! Fast forward 7th day and we have major slippage. Most of the braids are a full inch from the scalp now. I'm pretty sure because she wrapped around hair. You can see in pic. I was sure these would last a month or more but 2 weeks in and I don't think I feel confident that some just won't fall out. I've been doing a braid over the top and big buns so you can't see the slipping, although I would prefer her to be able to wear down. If we do go back we'll probably do cornrows again or crochet. I like that her shop is large and kept clean and she's friendly.

This store is not just for people of color, but all people with hair and skin :) It is difficult to find stores that have a wide selection of wigs, hair and products that are geared toward people of color and this store more than fits the bill. If you can't find products that you are looking to purchase, just ask one of the store associates. They will either find it in heir store (as they likely have it), or they can start stocking the product. I have added a few pictures of prices and quality products that I purchased today. The prices are the best in town and you will not find a better price for most of the products in town. Wigs and hair........what can I say?!!! They keep all of the latest styles, types and etc in the area. I have began to notice that they get different types of wigs on a continual basis ( weekly and bi-weekly).
