She said that it would be easy to do and would just have to lighten a lot in a balayage way. I arrived to my appointment And she looked at my hair and told me that it would take way more time and could not get it done in my appointment time. She told me it would take at least two appointments. I then asked if it would cost more than what she originally charges for the service. She replied with two or more visits making it close to 400.00 or more. No hairstyle is worth that much and I was expecting my hair to be done. So she then proceeded with there's a cancellation fee of 87.50 and she would not let me leave til I paid it. The truth of the matter is she cancelled on me after she told me how easy it would be to do my hair prior to her seeing me. I then tried disputing the charge through my bank and she would not give me my money back. Her and her friend in the salon at the time were very unprofessional and immature. She needs to do what's right since tge cancellation was due to her and not me. I showed up for the appointment wanting my hair done. I work in tge medical field and if a patient shows and under a circumstance due to our advice can't be seen, we do not charge a cancellation fee. The patient showed up and we cancel on them, it's on is not them.

She sticks it out with people who really don't listen to her and she never seems to be happy with her hair. Fast forward to January 2025 when she called around from salon to salon but nobody had any quick openings. We decided to not worry about her hair and just go get some retail therapy. We passed by this cute little salon near the dollar stores on Quintana, she said that was one that she had called but no answer, however the sign now said open! We walked in and Bibet welcomed us with a warm hello and started conversation with my Mom almost immediately as she was finishing up a client. I listened as Bibet did a consultation with my mom and asked her SO many questions that really helped her get a feel for what my mom was looking for. She even took pictures of the back and had my mom let her know what she thought (before and after). We both left there so very happy with the quality of friendliness of service. Bibet left her hair a little long in case she decided to have a perm. She loved her hair so much that she decided she didn't need one and went back so BIbet could trim it a little shorter. I honestly have never seen my mother so happy with her hair!! My parents came back home to OC and my mom said she wanted to head back up to Morro Bay because she needed a trim... now THAT means she was happy!! She still looks forward to her appointments and Bibet has a client for life now. THANK YOU!!! Pricing was slightly higher than my mom is used to but well worth it. Bibet only takes cash, but as long as we know that up front then all is good. Salon is clean, cute, and fits in the area with it's beachy theme and adorable name.
