The first time she made them too thick & I ask if she was going to thin them but she only thin the under nail instead of the top of the nail where it was too thick. A manager came by and I then explained her what I wanted the nail tech to do. After it was translated to her the tech seems annoyed and did what I requested. I would not recommend. Quality: not so great, for the price you expect better quality of service. The nail polish was sloppy and careless. See the pictures, I asked the lady that was doing my nails if she was going to me my nails and she looked at me as if I was asking something crazy. The pictures show the end product. I've been coming here for a year and have always been greeted so pleasantly by the owner and everyone else in the salon. I have made appointments so I've never waited longer than 5 minutes, but the one time I did wait 5 minutes they all apologized profusely. I've had the pleasure of being seen by Emily, Gwen, Sammy, and Emma. Every single one of them is so kind and fun to be around and have always made my nails look flawless. Anvy uses sterile practices- they have a box assigned to you, and any utensils used are pulled directly from an autoclave. As someone who has been to several, look no further- the is the best salon in Winchester!

Just a mediocre experience. I think they were tired and rushing because it was the end of a busy…read moreday. I got a gel manicure on my toes and dip on my nails. Great job on the pedicure, very meticulous, however, also very rough and made me bleed in multiple spots. She also only did one coat of glitter when the standard is at least 2. The dip manicure was really just application of a dip base with gel color on top. Not what I was expecting and it turned out very thick and not smooth. AND they only let my nails sit under the UV for max 10 seconds at a time, so I know the gel probably didn't set right. I didn't even get a real manicure either - no cuticle cleanup or moisturizer or anything other than a cut/file and color application. I had to ask for some cuticle oil and lotion at the end. I also think I was way overcharged ($120) based on the prices I saw on their menu.

I decided on Magic Nails because it was near where I was, and I called ahead to make an appt at 3:30. They said they could do 3 instead, and I agreed. Then, I called again to push it back until 4 due to a prior engagement and they were accommodating. I came in right at 4, and I believe Peter mistakenly thought I was another client who had an appt at 4 so I said no and waited until about 4:30. I got a gel manicure and was overall satisfied with the service and quality. My nail tech could have removed more of my cuticles and rushed me a bit into choosing my colors as I showed her a reference pic of what I wanted and wanted her input. Flash forward to 2 days after, and I noticed a small hair that's beneath the polish. Also, my middle finger chipped already. The tiny hair is driving me crazy. Overall, I would say this place does a good job with matching what you want and does a decent nail job, but I probably won't come back here again.

We had the spa pedicure with tiger balm massage and paraffin wax and gel polish....it was probably one of the best pedicures I've ever had! The massage was excellent and our toenails looks great. The facility was clean and I appreciated the staff being more upbeat and talkative than other places in town we've visited. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!
