If you love a firm, thorough pedicure that actually feels like your feet got some attention, do yourself a favor and go to Magic Nail and ask for Tom. I've had pedicures all over the area, and Tom consistently gives one of the best I've ever had. He's professional, friendly, and puts in the extra effort that makes the experience stand out. My feet always feel amazing when I leave, and the massage is exactly the right pressure. The salon is clean, welcoming, and the entire staff is incredibly kind. I've been coming here regularly for both nails and pedicures, and the service is always top-notch. If you're looking for a relaxing pedicure with great results, ask for Tom--you won't be disappointed! For nails, I'm a natural-nail girl, and I love thin natural nails with a little strength help, so I get the gel builder, and it's perfect. Tina does my nails, but any of them are great for manicures. I was looking up nail salons in the area because I wanted to glam up a bit before my birthday next week. I decided on Magic Nails because it was near where I was, and I called ahead to make an appt at 3:30. They said they could do 3 instead, and I agreed. Then, I called again to push it back until 4 due to a prior engagement and they were accommodating. I came in right at 4, and I believe Peter mistakenly thought I was another client who had an appt at 4 so I said no and waited until about 4:30. I got a gel manicure and was overall satisfied with the service and quality. My nail tech could have removed more of my cuticles and rushed me a bit into choosing my colors as I showed her a reference pic of what I wanted and wanted her input. Flash forward to 2 days after, and I noticed a small hair that's beneath the polish. Also, my middle finger chipped already. The tiny hair is driving me crazy. Overall, I would say this place does a good job with matching what you want and does a decent nail job, but I probably won't come back here again. read more

My mom and I went here for the first time today and we were both super impressed with our pedicures. They got us in immediately as walk-ins with no appointment. We had the spa pedicure with tiger balm massage and paraffin wax and gel polish....it was probably one of the best pedicures I've ever had! The massage was excellent and our toenails looks great. The facility was clean and I appreciated the staff being more upbeat and talkative than other places in town we've visited. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back! read more

I give three stars because they were very accommodating to my daughter and I coming in without an appointment and they were very nice to us. However, the quality of work was not that great...probably because it appeared they were trying to cram as many people in there as possible without enough people working, so everything was a big hurry. The quality of my manicure is just okay. My cuticles are okay, however a couple got nicked. The polish job is sub par...I believe a couple nails look bad because he deliberately painted over the cuticles that were nicked. Upfront: this started as a one star review based on the management or lack there of but the nail tech slowly raised the review by enforcing social distancing, having an extra place sit and quality of work. The work they did on my wife's nails were excellent. They then took their time and did a nice job on her toenails. Finally they took time to do her eyebrows. The prices and quality were in point! My recommendation to the business would be this: Really manage your appointment list and ensure you know before hand what services the customers are receiving. Had these issues been resolved or told the times upfront we would have been better prepared. This would have been a 4 or 5 star review based on the quality of service. We were happy the location took the appointment as another location in town canceled and rescheduled to the with out contacting us. We have an event locally and from out of town. But this is how this review started off..... Well...the only thing magical I've been able to see about this place is it's poor management and inability to document appointments. This is further exacerbated by the fact that the location ignores mask and social distancing requirements. We have been sitting in the waiting area for a 10am appointment since 0955. We have been told 15 more minutes every 15 minutes. The appointment was started at 1045. Okay so you would think this is a one off situation... but there were two of us waiting for the same time slot...so you'd think okay they are running a little behind. Then a part of three who had a reservation for 1030 walks in and they are told they won't get to them until 1130. We'll that's 5 customers...in a matter of an hour that didn't get done what they needed or were promised. read more

Today i got my nails done by Peter. i came in for a fill, I had a red short square nail before this set and asked if it was possible to change the shape to a oval or almond shape. He accomplished this perfectly. He took his time did not feel rushed even though they were busy. The store itself is very clean and smells nice when you walk in. I went to nail Salon on Monday. I had an appointment and still Had to wait 25 mins. I obtained my manicure. Within 24 hours one of my nails broke. Within 48 hours my 2nd mail broke. I went back to have my nails fixed. I had to wait over 40 mins and they did a horrible job correcting. The nail is super thick. The polish is bubbled. Top coat was not applied and it already coming off within 1 hour of leaving. I will never go back read more

Peter and his wife that own the salon provide some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Good: friendly staff, clean looking, attractive pedicure (although they rounded my nails which is a look that I don't like), great massage chairs. Why the poor review? Out of fear of infections that can be contracted at nail salons I have done research on what should be done to protect the consumer. This salon did just about EVERYTHING that is not supposed to be done; shared buffing blocks, that cheese grater thing that should not be used on callouses (it is too rough and only makes them worse) and worst of all, they actually used a Craftsman dremmel tool on the nails of the ladies on both sides of me. Same tool. No cleaning. No way were they going to touch me with that! And for those reasons, I would never go back. If they are cutting corners in those ways that can be seen, what else are they doing that I can't see? read more

I was looking for a place that does pink and whites using "American" white (not a bright white) she did the pink power over the entire nail and then painted the white on, the white is straight without any curve so does not look natural. It is just her (the owner) and another older lady trying to do everyone that comes in. Heard her on the phone with this woman who was trying to make a reservation for six people to be done at the same time and she said she could do it however there's only two people that can do pedicures have no idea how she's going to accommodate all six people at one time. I really hate writing bad reviews or small/local businesses but I feel like this needs to get out there. I came in just to get my shellac polish removed. The nail technician had me soak my nails in the acetone for awhile then tried to scrape off the polish. Most of it did not scrape off so instead of soaking them longer and trying again, she brought out the electric tool used to file fake nails and used it all over my nails and cuticles until the polish came off and my nails were paper thin! She then said my hands were dry and to dip them in the wax. So I did, not thinking it is an extra charge. When I went to pay, I was charged $25 for the nail butchering removal! 2 days later, there were little bruises under my nails from the trauma and the cuticles grew back all jagged (I'll add a picture). They hurt so badly. I would never go back there... The place I usually go to charges $5 for removal. read more

Today I got a pedi. It was nothing short of amazing. I always feel valued as a customer. All four girls did my pedicure and I could care less! I love all the ladies here and got a chance to chat with all of them all in one service. After much research and thought, my cousin and I went here for our girl time mani/pedis. We didn't have appointments so I can't complain too much about the fact that I was left to soak in the pedi chair for about 10 minutes before someone came over to start on my nails. The nail techs switched out every few minutes so it wasn't a personal experience. I asked for a design on my toes and showed the tech a picture of what I wanted. The design was nothing like what I showed her - instead it was some series of curved lines in two different colors and she charged me $10 for it. She also cut my toe nails back too far and rounded them for no reason. And once they started on my pedi, they rushed through it. The manicures were good. We got shellac and they were done quickly - or as quickly as shellac can be done. If I do go back, I will be sure to watch them carefully when it comes to cutting my toe nails and not ask for any designs. read more

However, the last time I went I was very dissatisfied because the tech that did my nails rushed and they looked a mess.
