My son who always had exemplary behavior, got bullied daily by four children. Despite going to the director,Ms.Kelly Libby nothing was done. My son who was a happy child , started crying daily because nobody did anything about the bullying. I reached out to MsKelly to no avail. This one particular boy put a beeping Apple Watch in my son's ear at recess. I didn't find out till my son Logan told me a month later. I told ms.libby via email. Her response was "Oh it happened a month ago, he's no longer allowed to bring his watch" ok so she basically did nothing because it happened a month ago. This is just one example of what was done to my child. I later received an email from her stating there was no evidence of bullying and that I should contact my son's pediatrician. I guess she was implying counseling. My son had two sessions and the therapist felt there was no need to continue. Prior to me putting Logan in this school , he was a happy child. I noticed that was changing. Each morning he was crying and felt very anxious. After trying with the direction ms.Kelly and his teacher ms.esther I pulled him out. These people were supposed to provide a safe environment which they did not. My advice think twice before u put your child in this school.

It's heartbreaking to witness the adverse effects on a child who is naturally joyful, full of humor, and eager to see the good in every situation. Unfortunately, in a school environment where teachers and staff often appear unsmiling and are quick to label behavior as disrespectful or disruptive, it becomes nearly impossible for a child to hold on to their sense of humor and positivity. While my son is not perfect--no child is--he is full of life, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning. However, his experience at this school has left him anxious and unsure of himself, constantly second-guessing every word and action, as if walking on eggshells. No 10-year-old should feel this way during such crucial formative years. Children deserve to feel safe, to ask questions, to explore, and to make mistakes as part of the learning process. I deeply regret enrolling my son in a school led by unqualified directors and teachers who seem ill-equipped to manage their responsibilities. Their approach, rooted in harshness and excessive control, is not only ineffective but also harmful to a child's education and emotional development. Children thrive in environments that nurture their curiosity, encourage their voices, and support their individuality--not in places that suppress them. Additionally, the leadership exhibits clear favoritism, often granting leniency to children of friends and pastors, despite behaviors that are far more disruptive than my son's. This inequity creates an unfair and toxic environment, undermining the values of fairness and respect that should guide any educational institution. Led by favoritism for children and family of friends. There are plenty of Pastors children who behaviors are worst than my son, yet they get a pass each and every time.

I didn't really pay any mind to it at first but little by little I saw the controlling/manipulative side of the director. He has a my way or the highway mentality and it just didn't go well with my teaching style! He also came to observe on like my 3rd class!!! I've taught for over 25 years and never had a walk in observation unannounced in my 2nd week of classes!!! That was very tacky on his part. There were discipline problems that weren't addressed and continued to be a real hindrance to my work at this school. I got pretty sick and continued to arrive to teach and only received complaints from the principal, I was really sick! He'd write passive aggressive emails to me and I just realized that this school was not the place for me to teach/coach and bring my family! When I was told to leave the principal eerily left all the lights on at the school and said he'd be watching me on the school cameras as I went back to my classroom to remove my personal belongings!!! Weird experience there, wouldn't recommend the school for kids or for a teaching opportunity!! Not worth it!! First- let me say that the director and the staff has always been very nice and receptive to our…read moreneeds. The turnover is incredibly high but that is to be expected with such low pay. My issue is not with the staff but with "the owners" (as everyone calls them). "The owners" allowed the school to place a placard at the check in podium, advertising part time rates. This prompted me to ask if I could enroll my son part time as I was changing jobs. This was warmly received and there were no issues. After I found out I was expecting, I asked about part time rates for my baby. They didn't offer infant care at the time so I found alternate childcare while my daughter was an infant. Because I liked the facility and they offered part-time rates I was excited to get to enroll my daughter the one-year-old room. We were informed that if a spot was open come time for my daughter to be enrolled, she would be permitted to attend part time because my son was already enrolled although they discontinued part time rates. My daughter began attending this school on October 3. On February 20 we were notified that we had until the end of the week to either enroll our children full-time or to find alternate childcare as they had families interested in enrolling their children full-time and needed my children's spot. The owners agreed to give us an additional week to find alternate childcare but I do not feel as if this was an appropriate way to handle a family who had been Enrolled for over two years and never had a late payment. This school views your child as a paycheck. The worst part about this all was that this was done eight days before my son's fourth birthday and six months before he would have began pre-k. These are the only other children my children have ever known. You cannot imagine what it was like to explain to my son that he was not permitted to continue to go to the only school and play with the only friends he has ever known.
