Everyone at the school is so helpful and encouraging. Ms. Lina learned our names quickly and always greeted us with a smile, asking how our learning was going. Ms. Nichma completely sold me during my tour and continued to be a huge supporter and bright part of each day. Ms. Lisette in the nails department was always kind and generous, allowing her students to trade services with us to make sure we all met our requirements. Ms. Aileen was a wonderful teacher who consistently took the time to answer our questions and ensure we truly understood the material. If you are consistent, diligent, and show up ready to work hard, the entire school notices and encourages you to keep pushing forward. Toward the end of my schooling, I was having a hard time getting clients booked for my services. Ms. Lina stepped in and helped me find clients from other sections so I could finish strong. Ms. Aileen also encouraged me to take my test the same day I completed my services because she believed in me and knew I would do well. That level of encouragement and validation meant so much. I enrolled In the Full Specialist program at Hyphen on the weekends and Ms Shana is the weekend instructor and she's AWESOME!! She's been in the business 25+ years and it shows!
