First and foremost I am not a huge girly girl, however now that I'm 30 I felt like it was time to step it up. Monica was my first experience and let me tell you, apart from her upbeat personality that just sucks you in and great sense of style, she knows her stuff. She made me trust her and boy was I nervous. I didn't want it to look drastic since I don't dress fancy often and I work a million hours a week. She made me feel relaxed with her ridiculously comfortable bed she puts you on and lets you set the tone on if you want to talk or relax. She talked me through a lot of the beginning and eventually I got so comfortable I started to doze a little, it was over before I knew it. I cant tell you how life changing it was because You don't even need a lot of make up after you get the lashes because it just changes something about your face and you just feel naturally beautiful. Now on the go, I throw on BB cream, some bronzer, and blush and go! When I do want to dress up, its just adds this extra hint of glamour without even being extravagant. Honestly now I'm a little embarrassed thinking of myself without the lashes all those years :) jk but its definitely something I cant live without now, she's awesome with the touch ups too. She has convinced me to go a bit more drastic with my lashes the next visit because I have a wedding coming up, but I trust that girl! I have been a long time consumer of lash extensions and have tried a number of lash studios, after having Monica do my lashes I knew I would never go anywhere else ever again. Monica is truly one of the most talented and amazing lash artist I have ever gone to. I can't tell you the number of compliments I get on a daily basis regarding my lashes. My natural lashes are not the best for lash extensions, but every time I leave the studio my lashes are flawless. Thank god I found Monica, she is AMAZING... I've had my lashes done several times by other people but I was never happy with the application process and the end result. I've been poked in the eye by needle sharp tweezers and had my bottom lashes glued to my top ones. I've had half my lashes fall out within days and it's been a disaster. Monica on the other hand was an absolute dream!....The application process was relaxing and I don't think I felt her actually applying my lashes once. She was so gentle, I could have fallen asleep. Monica is such a friendly, beautiful person inside and out and I genuinely enjoyed my appointment time chatting with her. She explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my service. The end result was fantastic... my lashes look beyond amazing. I've gotten so many compliments on my long and full lashes. I love how I can just throw on some power and head out the door without having to worry about putting on mascara. Monica is by far the most amazing lash artist I have ever seen! Not only is she extremely meticulous and is a perfectionist in the very best way possible, but she completely feels out your mood and will engage in conversation about anything on your mind, or offer for you to relax and get comfortable, put on your music and have the best nap of your life, waking up to completely elevated lashes that are on another level. I have pretty long, thick lashes naturally, and could not believe the magic she worked. They looked both natural and also beyond anything that MAC or Shu Uemera lashes have ever given me. I have been to a few places for lashes due to the fact that I wasn't satisfied or thrilled, but I have the shortest most pathetic lashes and they didn't seem to hold the false ones well.
