Every suite is either private with just one hair dresser or nail tech or I saw up to three in one suite. It was so cool walking to find my suite as all the doors are like sliding glass doors so you can see inside each suite. When I finally found Belkis(suite 9) I loved how she's solo and the cute earthy decor she had going on (one wall is completely covered in fake Ivy). She has 2 chairs, a bench, and one chair with sink attached to wash your hair. I was seen within15 minutes of my appointment which was great because I ran about 5 minutes late. Belkis was well known because people kept stopping by to say hi, even other hairstylists. I had done the balayge (with someone else) months ago and it really damaged my hair. I had to cut over 3 inches off and was left with just blonde tips. I needed some serious hair therapy, a trim, and definitely dye. I'm not a fan of shoet hair for myself so I was very specific about trimming JUST the split ends (you know some hairstylists tend to get scissor happy) with Belkis I had no worries. She dyed my hair first, then did a conditioning treatment and whennit was time to teim my hair she showed me before picking up the scissors, how much needed to be cut. I was pleasantly surprised cause it wasn't that bad. After she blowdryed and then planchaed(flat iron my hair..I have alot of Dominican friends and 2 half Dominican sisters..they say plancha alot). When I was done I was estatic! My hair looked healthy,shiny, and just 1000 times better! Belkis was honest about hair care and how often I should trim my hair and no more bleaching and dyeing my hair, really overjoyed with my outcome (my hair desperately needed this TLC) so Thank you so much Belkis and see you in 2 months for the next trim!

I came to Elna's salon today and was astonished by the amount of care, love and respect I received. Elna made sure to cut my hair exactly how I wanted and made me feel so special and beautiful after it was done. When the hair stylist finished, my hair looked great and a nice blow dry, however as we all know the hair if it has some type of flaws it wont show till the hair set, that afternoon I started seeing how my hair was standing up and then noticed that the right side had more volume than the left, which I had addressed her about this issue (not going to mention names) I always have more hair on the right side. I had to call that afternoon and was told that I had to have the cut corrected by the same person, but her hrs on the w/days were impossible for me, spoke to the mgr and she told me to go in and someone else would help, honestly the one that helped me seem to be really good, however something did not go right, because when I got home that side was now shorter than the other and sticked out like a sore thumb, my hair has never been the type to stand up, I have excellent hair and has the ability to hide flaws, but this flaws were too much. I am not going to disclose everything that took place relating to this incident.. Sometimes this things cant happen, as we are not perfect, but the handling could use some improvement. This Salon is very presentable, so if u going to go be cautious when u have your hair done as they have cameras and they will tell you that it shows that u left happy.....But they are not counting that hair must set before u can tell if it was cut with no flaws.

It then redirected me to the instagram page. And as I toggled between the website and the instagram page, something told me to just do it. I think the transparency and the ease of online consultation request helped give me the courage to go for it. I sent the photos of my brows and requested to see Yan and like not even 5 minutes, I received a call and a text from Elizabeth and the rest was history. I booked for an appointment with her brow technician, Yan, because booking the owner herself is like VIP. I researched Yan's page and I was very impressed. I looked forward to my appointment. The entire experience, from start to finish, was great. The first time I spoke with Elizabeth, I immediately felt her positive energy and she assured me that my concerns especially with the pain and healing process. It was like talking to a friend so is just as excited as I was to be doing this for myself. On the day of my appointment, I met Yan and I loved him instantly. He spoke little English but he tried and Elizabeth was there to translate every step. Yan's hands were light, gently and graceful. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time and at the end, I got exactly what I wanted. I wanted a more natural, airy individual hair line look, not the outlined and filled out look. I was sent home with a home care kit. And as soon as I got home, my mom was sold! I scheduled her appointment around the same time of my 6 weeks touch up. And Yan took extra care of her because her pain tolerance was a lot less and he was applying that numbing cream for her. It's been about a year and I still can't believe I waited this long to do this for myself. Yan is unfortunately no longer there. But this experience had been so great and I would encourage you to give it a try. Elizabeth's establishment is beautiful, clean, minimal and sleek. I brought my son and he comfortably waited for me at her beautiful waiting area. I don't give out many 5s but this experience deserves it.
