They showed up to cut trees down with a rope, ladder, and chainsaw. Not even a trailer to haul the wood. They cut the trees down and one fell on the neighbors house. He CLAIMED to have insurance but would not provide the information. He said he would pay for any damages. Once the damages were repaired he refused to respond and refused to pay. Ended up having to take him to court. I would awarded the repayment of the repairs in court. However since he does this on the side and doesn't claim the money and is on disability collecting food stamps I can not collect any money from him (he's exempt because he receives state aid). Which I'm sure he knew. So he got away with not taking responsibility for his actions and I was stuck paying for his mistake ($4,000!).
