I hired Coppens roofing to find and repair a leak in the roof of my commercial building. Upon…read moreinspection, they said that my drain needed to be replaced. I hired them and my roof has continued to leak ever since. When I called and asked them to assess and fix their work I was told they were "too busy and that I should call another roofing company". I was furious, but I did, and that company said that the work was not done correctly and would need to be completely removed and replaced. Upon their inspection of the roof, they said that it was unlikely that the drain was ever the real problem. They found two spots where the water was getting in. Coppens cut out a large area of my membrane roof around the drain and used the wrong material to seal the area back up, one that isn't compatible with the current roof material I have installed. They also left the roof drain sticking up 2 inches above the roof membrane so the water can't even drain and just pools up around the drain. The whole job needs to be redone now to the tune of ANOTHER $3,000+. I would definitely not recommend Coppens Roofing to anyone looking for an honest roofing company that stands behind their work. Beyond the incompetence, Bob was very rude and not easy to work with.
