I have very sensitive toenails, she cut right into the skin, I yelled. She then immediately left and the technician took over. I was seeen in the Moon office. It's a shabby place with used furniture. There are literally old dining room chairs with torn fabric and a leather exam chair with tears and worn spots in the exam room. There are a lot of posters for cosmetic surgery procedures taped to the wall so I'm guessing that is where she makes her money. I would have left immediately but I had a lot of foot pain thought I would be fit for custom orthotics there. I was basically diagnosed over the phone as having a neuroma. After a short consultation with the doctor, she very indelicately gave me a cortisone shot at the pain site which actually made the pain worse over the following weeks. I was offered generic shoe inserts out of a box that cost $80. I did not buy them. I didn't go back for the follow up visit. After consulting a different Podiatrist I was correctly diagnosed and the follow up treatments are working. This doctor has a lot of positive reviews but I am certainly not one of them. read more

I was very happy by the friendliness of the front desk people, the medical assistant, and the doctor. The doctor took out the time to take a look at my foot and ankle, she was very calm and had very good bedside manor. Even though she couldn't help me because she doesn't do the type of surgery that I had she was able to refer me to doctors that are very good in doing the type of surgeries that I had and are some of the best. It was very quick I didn't have to wait in the waiting room I signed in and went right into the room. If I ever have a bunion, hammertoe, corn that needs removed, or anything else related to my foot I will be back. read more

Beaver Valley Foot Clinic offers the Swift treatment, and they are the only facility within 100 miles that does. After one treatment, in four weeks, with no pain afterwards, my warts were COMPLETELY gone. After this treatment, I am told my body is now immune from getting warts ever again! It was truly amazing! I am very pleased I made the decision to get my toe procedure done in the office rather than in the hospital. I had to get my left toe - next to my big toe on left foot removed. Before the procedure they took Xrays and scheduled the appointment to have it done. The day of surgery, I did not feel NO PAIN when the doctor used a needle to numb the area being worked on. There was no pain at all during the procedure. I even watched the procedure being done. It only took about a half hour to do the procedure. The doctor put dressing on the area and I had to wear a shoe boot. They gave me instructions I needed to follow while recovering. I recommend and am so glad I made the decision to have this procedure done in the doctors office, rather than in the hospital. If you decide on the hospital you would need to get all kind of tests done before the surgery, it is more involved, and would require 3 to 6 months to recover. Getting it done in the office takes only 2 to 3 weeks to recover. I would highly recommend getting the procedure done in the doctors office. I just had my second appointment a week after my procedure - where the doctor checked my foot, changed the dressing and I have the last appointment in a week - where my stitches will be taken out. Getting it done in the doctors office is the best decision. It is safe, the doctor is very gentle and thorough, and I highly recommend getting it done in the doctors office, rather than the hospital. Keep in mind that the ambridge location this is their community service office so it is small and old but quaint. This office is much nicer but the staff is the same. Everyone here is unbelievably kind. Dr Christina is so helpful and takes her time with you. She tries everything possible to heal you before going for surgery and her staff is so helpful. This is definitely the best podiatrist office that I have ever been to. This is the place to go. The staff is what makes it amazing. read more

I received services in 2016 at Beaver Valley Foot Clinic. The biller billed the wrong insurance and the wrong insurance paid. Now in 2019, the wrong insurance took their money back. Time limits to file with the correct insurances have been exceeded so I am responsible for the entire bill despite having two insurances at the time the services were rendered. Dr. Teimouri and her staff are the best! I felt very comfortable with the staff. I had a wound on my foot that was infected. At first, I went to another doctor who prescribed an antibiotic that did not work , so I went to BV Foot and Ankle for a second opinion. I am impressed to say the least. My wound healed and Dr Teimouri spent time discussing with me how to help prevent a future infection on my foot and also ways to help minimize the scar from that wound. read more

Dr. Christina Teimouri - We scheduled here after reading good reviews online about this practice. My 14 year old son had an ingrown toenail with an infection. I scheduled for 8:30 am as I like to do so doctors don't keep you waiting when their schedules get backed up. We were kept waiting in the examination room for nearly 45 minutes. The assistant who questioned about symptoms, etc. was working with a laptop for her notes and my description of the problem might have been 3 sentences long....not much to say about an ingrown toenail other than pain level, treatment so far, and how long ago symptoms presented. She left without telling us what to expect treatment-wise but she had prepped a few things on the counter before she left. We waited the 45 minutes and this is no exaggeration... The doctor swooped into the room not a word spoken. Not hello, not "let me take a look", not "thank you for waiting", nothing. In one movement, eyes never looking up at me or my son, she walked in and went straight to the counter, grabbed a needle and an alcohol wipe and began reaching for him to give him a shot neither of us knew was happening. I was truly paralyzed. My son was terrified. I barely got out the words "wait, stop, what are you doing?". She stopped, gave a barely discernable huff, a slight eye roll and said "He needs a shot to numb the area so I can cut out the nail.". THAT would have been nice to have known before she terrified my son. Explaining to him that all he would feel is the shot, preparing him for GETTING a shot would have gone a long way. She was clearly bothered that I "questioned" her and went through the rest of the procedure in a disconnected and impersonal way. I am a firm believer in always knowing what is happening, being administered with healthcare. Especially with my children. Being present at a doctors office for a diagnosis does not give or imply consent for any and all types of treatment, particularly with no diagnosis or explanation given. We've all had experiences with doctors who feel they are above questioning by a mere parent. Dr. Teimouri is one of those doctors. I wouldn't ever recommend this practice to anyone.
