Their stock is so varied that you are bound to find something that you like and the staff are very helpful. They are able to alter something to fit you if needed and also do repairs. I cant fault this little shop. The only bad thing I can think of is that they have too much stock. It can be difficult to sieve through everything in the window and when you go in the store they pull even more of out of little boxes under the counter.

Because it was bought in store only a credit note or exchange is permitted, now I am very unhappy about this. When we looked at the receipt it stated that it was a second hand product. Now my father said he was totally unaware of this! He wouldn't of bought the product for health and hygienic reason!! I do not wear jewellery so now I am stuck with a credit note for more cheap tat. Now if my father had bought it via the Internet a refund would of being offered!! I explained this to the male at the paragon store. His attitude was awful, worst customer service experience I've ever received. Extremely unhelpful. I would 100% NOT wholeheartedly recommend buying jewellery at Segals paragon Street at all!! All we wanted was £29 refund. Now the money isn't an issue it's the service which we have received that has annoyed us more!! Avoid this place!!!

A first class job has been done by the jeweller. I am absolutely delighted. I went back to The Watch and Clock Hospital as Paul had repaired my Victorian fob watch. He patiently tried to purchase a matching glass face which was broken, and repaired the hands. I decided to have a better clasp fitted to the chain, which the jeweller replaced for me. Again a first class job was done. I would highly recommend this shop for watch and jewellery repairs. The staff are lovely, very knowledgeable, and there is no pressure whatsoever.

It is a high-end store and (call me fussy!) if I am spending big numbers I expect service and knowledge without question. This is exactly what you get here. I did my homework and armed with enough questions to floor a professor I proceeded to test their knowledge and found them infallible! I have bought houses for less than I spent that afternoon but came away feeling I had negotiated a great deal with an item of beauty that is available only in very few outlets in the country. I am sure there will be only a couple of occasions I may need to spend this amount on jewellery in my life so I will make a point of returning here when I do.

This is extremely insulting - I had been waiting for this ring from my partner for such a long time, and it was supposed to be a special moment. Why would I ever want to damage it? I returned the ring to their workshop, and they told me it would take 2 weeks to fix. Those 2 weeks passed, and when I tried calling multiple times for an update, nobody even bothered to answer. On the rare occasions I managed to speak with someone, the customer service was rude and dismissive - especially at the start of this whole issue. This entire experience has completely ruined such an important and special moment for me. I was so excited to wear my first ring, and now it has been gone for weeks without any updates! At this point, I don't even remember how it looks anymore. I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but this experience has completely shattered what should have been one of the happiest moments of my life - and I am still left without my ring or any updates. I will never shop at Ernest Jones again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them as well. Terrible quality, terrible service, and no care for their customers.
We were recently looking for a platinum eternity ring, and for some reason this is something that…read moreyou just can't buy in Scunthorpe - apparently there just isn't much of a market for platinum in the town compared to larger towns and cities where it's the most popular. Ernest Jones were, however, the closest thing we found to a decent jewellers and they did have a small selection of platinum. They're probably the most upmarket of the jewellers in the town centre, although they'd probably be classed as 'average' elsewhere. But they do have a nice little shop, the staff are really friendly and the prices are pretty much on the money. I got a watch battery changed there and they didn't so it properly so the watch wouldn't work afterwards as water got in - for that reason I'm marking them down to 3/5!

They have a massive range of new and second hand jewelry most of which is unusual and slightly different from the norm - and often unique with only one or two having been made. I like this because it means that I can buy something that someone else is unlikely to have. What a good way to treat someone you love. I have purchased many items of jewelry from this shop and the second hand items have a tendency to be old jewelry which again is often unusual. The prices are pretty low and for the second hand items this means you can get a lot for your money.
