Took my Breitling into the store and 20 mins later it had a new battery and was pressure tested. This is by far the most efficient and affordable option I have found. It costed £40. I collected two white gold rings today which have been repaired. One of them is 46 years old, heavily textured and has been repaired twice before, but not at this shop. A first class job has been done by the jeweller. I am absolutely delighted. I went back to The Watch and Clock Hospital as Paul had repaired my Victorian fob watch. He patiently tried to purchase a matching glass face which was broken, and repaired the hands. I decided to have a better clasp fitted to the chain, which the jeweller replaced for me. Warning to all, avoid this business. They carried out a battery replacement and repressurisation on my watch, 17 months later in a pool water leaked in. I contacted them and they refused to accept any responsibility for the problem even though they sold me a two year guarantee for the repressurisation. So I recommend you avoid such a business. Of course go ahead if you do not use your watch under water. But do remember their actions have told me a lot about their way of doing business - no accountability! Update to above, filling my experience I checked the batteries in the watch and found they had not even installed the batteries I asked for and were recommended.
