This is a small patisserie and bistro in a resort. It is well-decorated, like a cafe in Paris,…read moreincluding outdoor seating. They sell French bakery items, subs, and coffees. They also serve different types of Afternoon Tea. They also sell breads like Sour Dough ($12.00) and French Baguette ($4.50) for takeout. We ordered the following: 1. Nutella Croissant ($6.95). 2. Flat White (small $4.95). They charge the normal 13% HST, but there is an extra 3% resort fee! Both the croissant and coffee were good. The service was good. Some people make reservations for their favourite tables. They certainly make sure every is clean and chairs aligned. Four of us were sitting around a very small round table, so I put my camera case and bag on top of a neighbouring table (they were only 20% full). My wife told me they were staring at me. After I took it off and put them on the floor under my seat, they cleaned the table; must clean off any dirt I might have on my stuff! They have been open for 3 years. They allow photos using a phone but not a DSLR. They said they would charge $250 for me to take photos. One staff member recommended I speak to the owner. The owner was concerned that I take photos of his prices: this makes not sense since I can also do it with my phone! He finally allowed me to take photos of just the food, and he asked the staff to take it out for me onto a table! I was thankful! There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is free WiFi. The patisserie is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is free parking in the resort. There are two high chairs for little children. Review 2024-203

Full Tea for 2 ($65) includes: Tea, savory mini sandwiches, assorted sweets, whipped cream, assorted fruits. ** They didn't have mini sandwiches, but we got to choose a hot pressed sandwich from the bakery display, and they sliced it for us ^^ I'd also recommend: * Lychee Green Tea (teapot) * Roast Beef Mushroom Melt * Brie, Arugula, Prosciutto Be sure to make a reservation via phone for afternoon tea experience. Good for small groups of 2-3 people :) Limited indoor seating, outdoor patio also available. I personally think the afternoon tea experience is still very new, still need to work out some kinks. Overall, food was delicious, and my family had a lovely time together :)

Cashier mentioned sometimes it was up to 30 minutes due to uptick in popularity. The mango croissant was unlike I ever tasted in life. I had to go back and ask how was each layer so flakey. The owner said they import their butter from New Zealand. Didn't know New Zealand had butter like that.

A nice bonus is that if you order six or more pastries, the order becomes tax-free, which is great if you want to try a variety of items. We tried the "Almond Croissant", "Pistachio Croissant", "Crème Brûlée Croissant", "Honey Cake", "Lychee Raspberry Tart", and "Cheesecake. "My favourite was definitely the Lychee Raspberry Tart; it was fruity, creamy, and very balanced. The Honey Cake was my second favorite, although I personally would have preferred it plain without the mango passion cream on top. The Crème Brûlée Croissant was a bit too sweet for my taste, while the Almond Croissant and Pistachio Croissant were good but more simple. The Cheesecake had a nice creamy cheese layer, though the almond cake base was slightly too sweet for me. Overall, it's a great bakery if you enjoy creative pastries and trying different flavours.
