At first, I thought maybe it wasn't sweet enough, which makes sense given that it was labeled as containing less sugar than the norm. But the more I dug in, I found that the sweetness level was just right. The tasty red-bean filling and the almost caramelized exterior proved impossible to resist. I could've eaten a whole lot more than the half we shared, ultimately. I'm very interested in Blooming Garden's other offerings, if what we ate is any indication of their quality.

Flat White (small $4.95). They charge the normal 13% HST, but there is an extra 3% resort fee! Both the croissant and coffee were good. The service was good. Some people make reservations for their favourite tables. They certainly make sure every is clean and chairs aligned. Four of us were sitting around a very small round table, so I put my camera case and bag on top of a neighbouring table (they were only 20% full). My wife told me they were staring at me. After I took it off and put them on the floor under my seat, they cleaned the table; must clean off any dirt I might have on my stuff! They have been open for 3 years. They allow photos using a phone but not a DSLR. They said they would charge $250 for me to take photos. One staff member recommended I speak to the owner. The owner was concerned that I take photos of his prices: this makes not sense since I can also do it with my phone! He finally allowed me to take photos of just the food, and he asked the staff to take it out for me onto a table! I was thankful! There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is free WiFi.
