Got quotes from several roofing companies to replace our aging roof ( over 20 years old). Several…read morewere very good. What set Indy Rooftops apart was the overall value. Jack who was our sales/ consultant was awesome as was Teddi who is a manger. Very responsive & great at answering questions. We were able to get a great deal on a metal roof. The crew did a great job. Dedicated, friendly, & very hard working. They didn't rush but worked methodically as they should have. There was supervision when needed but they knew what they were doing. They also made sure to diligently clean up everything after the tear off including another run with the nail magnet the day after tear off to make sure everything was picked up. I urge anyone looking at replacing or fixing their roof to contact Jack at Indy Roofing to make sure they get a great honest estimate.

After submitting a request online, Bradley contacted me first thing the next morning and scheduled to come by the house later that afternoon. After explaining on the phone my problem, he communicated his suspicions of the issue and stopped by later to confirm. Turns out, the issue wasn't with my roof but a loose/leaking exhaust pipe in my attic that apparently someone had stepped on at some point in the past. Although he could not perform the repair as it was a plumbing issue, I truly appreciate the great customer service and sanity check he provided. If I ever need any work done on my roof in the future, I know who I will be calling!

We're an hour away, and I had been trying to get local chimney sweeps and masons to come deal with our house for years. I'd get an estimate, and then no one would follow up. Bone Dry showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, were respectful to my house, property, and people, and cleaned up after they left. We had three different crews come through to address each phase of the work, and everyone was professional, friendly, and communicative. There were a couple of small bumps, but they handled them professionally and quickly. I was, all in all, very pleased with their performance. I'm a building professional myself, and very much appreciate what they do. They're good people, and did a very good job for me. Pricing was reasonable '(this stuff is expensive - brace yourself, but these guys don't overcharge) I'd hire them again without a second thought.

Followed up a few years later by issues where moisture was entering our house through an access point and causing damage to our ceiling. They took partial blame for the situation and repaired things with partial charges. Most recently after a storm, they checked my roof and determined it was OK, but a rake board had come loose and the sales rep showed me a video verifying the need for repair. I consented. When they came to do the repair, it wound up being a simple 'nail back in place job', which was not what all I thought it would necessarily be. Combined with a single loose piece of siding that was also nailed back into place, I was charged $665 for a 10-15 minute job that required basically no materials. When I shared my concern that I felt the charge was excessive for the work performed, I was basically dismissed and charged the full amount. I realize I signed the contract, I simply didn't think the job warranted the full charge. I appreciate they got on a ladder and did work I wasn't comfortable or knowledgable enough to do, and felt a slightly lesser charge seemed to make sense for what they did. Guess I will look elsewhere for future jobs after the lack of understanding to work with me.

In 2011 a tornado damaged our slate roof. The roof was over 100 years old. Realizing that slate…read moreroofs were not common, I let my insurance company pick the company to replace it. They picked DWC Restoration (now DWC Roofing). The sales person was friendly and worked well with the insurance company. The first problem was an employee took the scrap copper home (about $600 worth). I raised a fuss and they brought it back. Next, the copper they put on for the ridge caps looks like copper foil. I am glad I had them bring the copper back, because I had the material to prove the new material was not the same. The slate matched nice when they were done, but they never repaired a copper gutter. They said afterwards they did not know how and sorry for your luck. Years later, we had damage to our plaster ceiling. The flashing around the chimney had been leaking. One of the pictures below is an icicle that formed between the chimney and the rafters! That is when the nightmare began. DWC would not answer emails or phone calls. I had to go back through my home owners insurance to apply pressure to get the leak repaired. 4 months later, DWC sent someone to repair the chimney. I had to help the repair because DWC was too cheap to send more than one person. I had to repair the inside plaster damage myself. To add more problems, years later a piece of slate broke off the top row of slate. I went to replace that piece of slate and discovered the crew never put on the last row of slate!! I had to repair the slate myself because DWC had let me know that their slate roof only had a 2 year warranty and they would no longer support repair of the slate. Amazing that some companies warranty shingle roofs for 20 years and DWC won't warranty a slate roof more than 2. Anyway, when I went to repair that piece of slate, I saw there were gaps in the top row of slate. I did not bother going back through DWC, since the home office never would answer my calls. I went back to the insurance company. The new DWC salesman contacted me and sent two great employees that finished the job. Luckily, I had kept the left over slate and they used it. Unfortunately, now I have plaster peeling where water leaked through the gaps in the slate that I will have to repair - because DWC does not stand by their work.
