Due to the age of the roof and the cost of repairs we agreed a complete new roof and gutters were needed. He provided a written quote with a fair price and asked for 50% down. I had a quote and roof repair within 48 hours! I needed to have my chimney removed in order to avoid leaks and have some skylights reflashed. Juan did not try to upsell me on anything I didn't need and helped me find the most economical solution. For the chimney removal and roof repair, we ran into some trouble with brittle 100-year-old brick and they adjusted their plan right away and Juan made sure to preserve the brick as much as possible. I called Juan about the wind blowing off my roof vent. I told him I had put a couple of insulated screws in to temporarily fix it. When he saw what I did, he came down and said it was great and I shouldn't have any problems with it. Suggested I do the same to the other vents just as a precaution. Morales Roofing was very good to us. Our roof was damaged by wind and hail in spring 2016. Because our insurance company didn't pay out a lot for the claim, getting the best deal on a reroof was crucial. I shopped around and called at least 10 different roofers. Of those 10 roofers, only 3 bothered to call us back. I had to leave messages for other roofers, but Juan/Morales Roofing was available to take our call during the weekend, and he came out that same day to get us an estimate. I appreciated his promptness but told him I'd like to shop for some other bids, and he was ok with that. To cut to the chase, after getting three other competing bids, Morales Roofing was 10% cheaper than any of its competitors, but Morales Roofing offered to use the same high quality materials as the other roofers offered to use. Within a few days of telling Juan that we were ready to proceed with the project, he came by to complete paperwork, ordered the materials, and obtained the necessary permits. Rain stopped us from roofing on the day we originally planned. But the Morales Roofing crew was out bright and early the very next day. They completed the entire roof project in one day. It was one, long day, but they got the job done in one day, as promised. Before leaving they made several passes around the house to check for debris or nails. Then they cleaned up any loose dirt. 12 hours after they arrived the old roof was off and a better roof had been put on. The Morales Roofing crew was simply excellent. In less than one week from us telling Morales Roofing that we wanted them to do the roof job we have our brand new roof, and it's better than the old roof. Morales Roofing is cheaper than competitors, but just as legitimate. Morales Roofing is bonded, insured, etc. Morales Roofing also warrants their work to be free from defects. As Juan told me: any problems and they'll be out right away to make it right. Their price is lower than competitors, but the quality is just as good. I highly recommend them. Someone might read this review and think it's fake because it's too positive; I promise you this review is genuine. A project like this is one of those things where you want to make sure you get the right person/company because it's really expensive and a bad job can cause you a lot of headaches. Given that I had such a good experience, I want to make sure others know about it so that they can avoid wasted time and headaches in the future.
