We Stayed in Las Brisas Hotel for 11days. Incredible service and the most beautiful view in Acapulco by far. The concierge at Las Brisas booked our reservation for four at Becco, a 5 star restaurant which turned out to be a disaster. No menu in English, the excuse no American tourists is Acapulco. No English speaking staff except for one server who had to translate the entire menu. I was offended by the remark, English is the international language. The fried calamari was chewy, the filet special was not cooked as requested, both meals were room temperature instead of hot and the desert was not so great. My mistake for not asking for the manager that evening. The following morning as the day progressed everyone including the staff convince me to call about our horrible experience. My mother had food poisoning and ended up in bed for two days with the worst stomach pain and everything else that comes with it. I called the restaurant Becco and ask to speak to the manager in charge, the young lady on the phone did not speak English, after three attempts the manager finally came to the phone, Juan the Captain, I explained to Juan our experience at the restaurant including my mother sick in bed from food poisoning and all he could say was that there was nothing he can do. He asked me if we were four of us at dinner, I said yes, he said he remembered us cause we asked for a menu with both Spanish and English..he replied again they did not have an American clientele or did they cared to do anything about our experience. After a few minutes of silence he said he could treat us to free drinks when we come back. I explained to him that we were not planing to come back after having food poisoning. I was offended and not satisfied with his lack of inexperience in customer service. He said that we would speak to his friends ( I believe he meant upper management) and call me back the next afternoon with a resolution. Sadly he never did, this is the worse customer service I've ever had in the 30 years vacationing in Acapulc, so sad such a beautiful restaurant. We actually had better food at "Cabrito" and EL Fogon on the strip. So take my advice and don't go. read more
