According to the contract I agreed on, they were to clean up to 10 windows, vacuum and mop all floors, clean sinks, tub and toilet, dust ceiling fans, window sills, baseboards. I had to get the house ready for buyers but Becht Pride failed to deliver. They only vacuumed and mopped, poorly. They sent me a message asking how they did, I told them, they did not contact me back. $341 for a bad job of mopping and vacuuming. Just wow. I used the Yelp app to request quotes for a deep, *deep* cleaning. These people are the only business that responded. I was concerned about the several one-star reviews, but was assured by the people with whom I spoke that there were better reviews *that Yelp was for some reason hiding.* I guess that should have been my first clue. The form I submitted requested detailed cleaning, windows inside and out, carpet cleaning, refrigerator and oven -- *everything.* I'm injured; I can't do this stuff. My husband works his ass off. We needed help. I was assured all requests would be met, and that we would have the cleaning team from first thing in the morning to five o'clock. I was quoted a flat rate of $460, with a $200 deposit that I willingly provided. I was not given any further information, other than an appointment confirmation. The team -- a couple of nice college-age girls -- arrived after ten AM. I had stated that, being chemically sensitive and wanting only green products used in my home, I would provide all cleaners. (I also have a great vacuum and carpet cleaner.) They brought their own, and used them. They also didn't seem to understand the proper way to clean: start at the top, getting dust and cobwebs and light fixtures, and work down... so falling dust can be cleaned later. I mentioned this twice. They ignored me. When I asked them about it, I discovered a whole lot of other stuff: Windows were not on their list. Neither was carpet cleaning. Neither was the fridge, unless I'd emptied it first... which I was not told about. Neither were walls -- including food splatter from cooking. I don't think these nice girls were taught how to clean. I don't blame them. *Their bosses failed them, and LIED to me.* SO! Now I have the joy of getting my $200 back. I will pay them for two hours of their time... no more. Because they have my credit card, I had to cancel the card and request a new one -- I distrust them that much. I am waiting for a call from their manager. Becht -- you got nothing to be proud about. **UPDATE** Apparently, two hours of superficial, poorly-done cleaning is worth $250. I asked about an hourly rate; I was told they don't charge hourly. So, although the owner wanted to "make it right," that doesn't include refunding me my money. So I will need to file a fraud report through my bank to get a partial refund. Joy. Also: Discovered that the team shattered my nail brush, threw it out, then took only that bag of trash out. They didn't tell me about it. So this amounts to hiding it. **Update** Nope. The first the business heard about the problems was when the team called in. They were supposed to hand the phone to me afterwards, but said the manager had an appointment and would call me. I wrote the review while waiting, because I was still mad, and I dismissed the team after looking at the shoddy superficial job they did cleaning. This is not the deep clean I was quoted for. And yes, I seriously object to those rates, which equate to what I was paid as a veterinarian. read more

I'll be fair. This review is from 2018. It's very possible they have changed. But possible they have not. So take the review with that context. But Yelp keeps asking me to review them, so here goes: I hired them to help me clean for an apartment move out. Three women came over and I showed them the house. My cat is a jerk and was angry about moving chaos so he pooped outside the litter box and I didn't realize it until they were there. I went upstairs. I didn't hear any cleaning. I look out the window and the three women are outside, one is on her phone. I'm confused. Then they get in the car and drive away. What the hell?! I call and apparently they didn't want to clean up cat poop so they quit. Ummm...I did not ask them to do that, and obviously didn't expect it. It was so unprofessional to enter someone's home, judge them, and leave without saying anything (especially because when they left my front door was of course unlocked because I didn't know they were leaving). Becht said they would reimburse me. I imagine they did - moving was so chaotic I didn't check my bank statement that month and forgot to follow up. But they really screwed me over, since then I had to call off work to get the deep cleaning done myself last minute just a few days before move out. Because of this, I will never ever ever hire Becht again, honestly even if they fired everyone since then, because just thinking about them makes me mad. read more

Completely unreliable. We used them to clean our rental house for about 5 years and we never went a summer without them missing a deadline for new renters. They cost me hundreds of dollars in discounts to new renters who had to wait 1-3 hours because Becht was late. They did an adequate job cleaning. If timing matters, they are not reliable. read more

I really don't know where to start with this company. We hired them years ago when we were trying to find a consistent cleaning company, and this is not that company. They use cleaning products that stained an antique bathtub. We ended up canceling what was supposed to be our last appointment due to issues. And they have now submitted a collections on me for a time they never came to clean. They sent me a bill over a year ago, I called them to dispute because our house was not cleaned on the date provided. They tried to back pedal and say "oh it was this date". My elderly parents hired Becht Pride to clean their house. When I went to visit, the guest bedroom and second bathroom were filthy, covered in thick dust. It was apparent that no one had touched it. I told my mother and she called to complain. She was told that the problem would be rectified. When I went to visit a second time there had been no change, so I called to complain. I was assured that a more seasoned crew would come out and that they would get half off the next bill. I decided for the new year that floors are hard, I need help. I used Yelp to find cleaners (quite convenient if I don't say so myself). Becht Pride was quick to respond. They came out and I got a quote. After comparing with the other places, realized that they were the best value for my money. They worked with my schedule and came out and did the first cleaning. I had to put a deposit down for the first and we're going to be doing monthly cleaning. When they came out they were friendly and nice, it took roughly 2.5 hours for my place (depends on your house and what you need done). Now my floors are sparkling and the outside of my oven doesn't look like a good explosion happened on it. You are able to tip cleaners though an online portal so don't worry if you hate getting cash like me. I really appreciated their service and looking forward to my next cleaning. read more

I am currently in the middle of a bathroom renovation with Becht Pride so my review will only speak to my experience thus far. I hope to add pictures and a complete review when the work is done. Pros: - Nice people to work with, very professional and personable - They are respectful of my home, keeping the workspace as clean as they can as they work - Quality of work so far has been good Cons: - There have been multiple delays in the project (they were supposed to start July 8, it got pushed back a week to the 15th, then one of the main workers was away for a few days, and another fell ill). They said it would take 2 weeks to complete and we are closing out 3 weeks and there is no paint or tile on the walls and no vanity or a toilet in place. - Communication needs to improve. I have had to reach out to ask about things they should have communicated to me. - Progress is slow because for most of the time, only one guy has been doing the work I've communicated with the owner and hope that the issues above will be addressed. When all of the work is completed I will amend this review to reflect my total experience. read more

I purchased a 4 hour cleaning service from Groupon and made the arrangements for Becht to clean on a certain date and time. I was very specific because it involved house closing. We had arranged for the house to be cleaned the day of the closing. We had expected it to be done !!!! When they did not show up to clean , I tried in desperation to call them for over an hours! Whey they finally did call back , they could careless about my predicament and really did not care that the house was be cleaned for a house closing. After a lot of frustration , they sent someone to clean and they were there for less than an hour and did a horrible job. The distress , anxiety, hypertension and overall stress that they caused that day in my life tells me that they could care less about their customers. Had several poor experiences with them. Two out of the first three times they really did a poor job of cleaning and we had to clean up after them. The last appointment was between 3 and 5 and they are supposed to text when they are on their way. We texted them at 4:30 and asked what their eta was and they said 5:15-5:30. They then just never showed up, with no call and no text. Use someone else if you don't want to be disappointed. read more

I"ve used this company about 6-8 times now. They told me the last time I used them was 2 years ago...The first time was great, but since then, they just kept getting worse...This last time was in January and it was horrible. Also, their vacuums "dont suck" so they suck! Ha. They give the girls the worst vacuums ever to clean with. The vacuums don't pick up much and don't go underneath anything. Not that the last 2 females they sent to clean my house bent over to clean under anything... As the days went by afterwards I kept finding things that were not dusted (they also didn't bother to move any objects), not vacuumed and not washed. The worst locally ran cleaning service I have ever hired. Used them once and came home to something as trivial as a stolen phone charger. I got in contact with "supposed" management and they said they would "talk their employee". Needless to say this wasn't satisfactory. I then get a call the next day say I was right....and that he would like to refund me the cost of the charger through my invoice. I said no and demanded and new charger. I think this all was an oversight and call to use them again. No issue except when I got to pay for THAT ONE CLEANING a week later they run my card again, WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I had Becht come to clean 2,200 square ft of my house. On their web page, they posted $30 an hour. Wound't that be wonderful! When I talked to them, I was told it would be $130 as I was asking for service once a month! I was very disappointed in what the crew accomplished. They were only here 1 hour 15 min! When I look up on their web web of what would be done, I would say that only half of it was accomplished! Most disturbing were the crumbs left around the woodwork in the kitchen! No kitchen cabinets were spot cleaned. No blinds were dusted. Laundry tub was not cleaned. Light fixtures were not dusted. Dirt in entryway wasn't swept up. I could go on and on. read more

I started using Becht last month and have had 3 house cleanings so far. The cleaning crew did an impeccable job! I was so impressed after the first cleaning that I requested the same cleaning crew each time. The 2nd time they sent a different crew. I was weary but I rolled with it. The 2nd crew was no where near as thorough as 1st, and I was not pleased. I contacted the owner and he immediately took care of the issue. He had my regular crew back out the next day and they did an incredible job. Not to mention the owner contacts me after each service for feedback. I'm only rating a 4 because of poor service from the 2nd cleaning crew; but, the owner made up for that bad experience. Great company! read more

I have high cleanliness standards due to a mild-to-severe case of OCD, but I can never find anything wrong with the job they do.
