The shop owner Tony, is rude and impatient and Mohamed who helps him in the shop is a fraud. They did the worst fix possible to our truck which broke down and we had to tow it and when we asked for a refund both got loud (it was a $500 refund for the "hour" that they checked the truck and a button that we never needed to begin with). Bottom line, if you value your vehicle and demand respect and patience from your mechanic, you should never go to this guy. Instead I would recommend Acculine Automotive in Pickering, that guy is a gem.

This one was no different, Calling in I asked if they had a part to fix the rear passenger shock mount as it had failed due to wear. A 20$ Item, 3 screws easily accessible, and 10 minutes of work with an impact driver and WD-40. After calling i was LIED to when the front desk had said that the shock i was looking for was fused and the 20$ part unfortunately has to be a 150$ entire shock replacement as well as an estimate of maximum 100$ for the labour. I took his word for it and agreed to the service.... little did I know.... this was not the case. I asked for my old part back and easily popped off the mount from the rubber gasket and made mention that I must not have had the "factory model" he talked about over the phone. Alas, after lying again and saying Mazda doesn't sell it separately, he shortly corrected himself a minute later saying that they do not buy them separately (no need to get it from Mazda, Napa sells the same KYB mount (Mazda's factory shock choice) or dorman substitute). Irregardless charging me 50$ more than the cost of the suspension. valuing his mechanics service at 300$/hr (took 20 minutes in total in/out while moving slower then a sloth) and openly lying to a customer you'd be better off at a Canadian Tire auto service. Heed WARNING to those who do not know different, speed and monetary cost is in the eye of the beholder and this Snake Oil salesman sells a bitter brew of lies.

Luckily, a mechanic friend diagnosed that the engine was missing about 2 L of coolant and Jane Park likely didn't purge and refill the coolant reservoir when complete. Again, Jane Park refused to accept any fault. He told me to bring it back in so they could check everything out again. He charged me for a new coolant cap, wouldn't even throw that in as goodwill. Keep in mind I'm 8.5 months pregnant at this time and he couldn't even throw me a bone, considering I was stranded 3 hours away from home. Won't go back. I was advised that it was normal and sent me a video for the correct way to break in my break pads/rotors. I drove my car only short distances for the next few weeks and informed Uchanics that it is still making noises and the burning scent is still present. It turns out my calipers where seized. Due to the service tech rushing, he did not get to check the calipers. I got the rotors, break pads, calipers fixed at a different shop. This terrible experience happened in April. They've stopped responding to my emails and it is now September. I am still currently waiting for my reimbursement from Uchanics.
