I've been going to Beck Spinal Care for about 2 1/2 years now. I've ALWAYS had pain problems since I was a child and had been to multiple chiropractors in my life, so it was shocking to me that at 30 years old, I was told for the first time that I have an EXTRA vertebrae in my back (you'd think that would be something previous chiropractors would notice????) Aside from that, Dr. Beck's methods; no cracking, twisting or painful popping, have been miraculous. I have a laundry list of problems in my adult life: lower back pain, MASSIVE neck pain (I'm talking literally couldn't turn my head without partially blacking out) and severe hip and sciatic pain JUST to name a few, but these are NO LONGER PROBLEMS! I do NOT believe it's far fetched to give partial credit to him for my 126 lb weight loss, because after starting there and sticking to it, I could MOVE again!!!! I now go religiously once a month as maintenance. I told my husband the other day that if I was told I could only ever choose ONE form of healthcare for the rest of my life, HANDS DOWN I would choose to go to Dr. Beck's. He's extremely talented in his profession, explains everything really well and it's a bonus that he's NICE and funny. Dr. Beck is seriously one of the best healthcare providers I have ever been to. I have had reoccurring injuries since I was 17, between my lower back, shoulders, and neck stemming from a roll over, and saw flare ups over and over, some lasting for more than a week at a time. I have seen a lot of doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors since then, and none have been able to help me as much as Dr. Beck has. Since starting as his patient, I have not had any big flare ups from the existing injuries and have had amazing progress (more than I thought possible). I see him every few weeks now for maintenance, and feel so much better now than I ever have. Whatever the injury, Dr. Beck works with many therapeutic modalities (massage, stem, acupuncture, etc.), to address the root and cause of the injury, and is always thorough in his appointments. I was recommended to Dr. Beck by family members and have been treating with him for the past year. His staff is always friendly and accommodating, even when I need to change an appointment last minute. His technique is something you may not experience with any other chiropractor ever; and I do mean ever. He does not crack my neck, not once have I heard that awful crunching sound that I dread, nor has he ever twisted my neck in that menacing, uh oh, brace yourself way. I began my visits with Dr. Beck after an accident which left me with a pinched nerve in my neck resulting in numb fingers and frequent headaches. I'm a firm believer in the benefits of chiropractic for health and wellness as well as in the treatment of acute issues. A couple years ago, I was having to take daily morphine as well as other pain killers for break through pain. A friend referred me to Dr. Beck. After a few short weeks of treatments, I told my pain doctor I was ready to taper off of the morphine. She was shocked and said she'd never had a patient with my condition ask to do that! I met Dr. Beck at the Spanish Fork Heath Fair and talked my friend into going to him because of her pain.
