I especially love their houseplant selection, I have nearly 100 different houseplants and many of them came from here including a bunch of carnivorous plants, my favorite being butterwort and drosera. They probably have one of the best tropical and houseplant selections within a few hundred miles. My girlfriend and I often go together and spend $300 each per trip. Their outdoor plant selection is even bigger. They don't have very many aquatic plants but they do carry a few. I usually buy a ton of perennials for my yard and front garden each year and a few annuals. The one thing I will not buy here is trees. Their trees are quite a bit over priced and they don't stand behind them. We spent a few thousand dollars on trees last year, many of them $100+ each and we had about 20% of them die within a year. For paying that much more and having no warranty, you are better off going almost anywhere else. And they will not cut you a deal if you want to buy a bunch to line a driveway or fence line like Adcock's and some other nurseries will. The only time I've had them give me a deal is if they've had something sit for a year or more. They have a great selection of pots and statues as well and they are also premium priced. I sometimes get one or two here if I see something unique and cool but mostly I buy that stuff elsewhere. They have a great rare area, most of that stuff is in the main building where the restroom and bird supplies are. As it would be anywhere else, that stuff is expensive but you can get plants that you won't see anywhere else. The staff is extremely helpful. Brianna is a favorite as she posts new items in a local FB group highlighting all the cool new plants coming in.

If the lovely setting, colorful flowers and trees weren't welcoming enough, the employees are super friendly and helpful. It was early in the season, so not much produce, but flowers, shrubs, trees of all sorts of sizes and colors are in abundance! Tons of great garden supplies too. There's even a cute little ice cream building next to it that is landscaped so perfecly you'll want to sit back and relax for a while enjoying the cool treat and watch the cars go buzzing by.

At the Apex Farmer's Market you can see each vendor and customer with their Shoomee's bouquet. My husband orders flowers from them directly for special occasions and I believe the owner can offer different arrangements at different price points like $20, $50, $100 (lucky person!) etc. I also love following their instagram account @shoomees.flower to see the flowers that are in season. Bonus- the whole family is involved. I usually see the dad making bouquets and the kids are ringing up customers. Bouquets in our home last about 2 weeks. I have loved having them on our table for Easter or just a nice way to start the weekend.

My husband specifically requested this to be a surprise for Valentine's Day, yet I received multiple phone calls and a voicemail beforehand asking if someone would be available to accept the delivery. The flowers were being delivered to a place of business, which should have made that obvious from the address. While the product was excellent, the handling of the delivery took away from what was meant to be a special surprise. I hope this feedback helps improve the delivery experience, because the floral design itself was truly lovely.

DO NOT ORDER from this company, they stole the name of this local flower company and deliver a really cheap flower arrangement. I paid over $70 for a Christmas Center Piece and they delivered a centerpiece that looked to be about $20 and said they had to substitute flowers because of flowers being out of season, which is part of their scam. You can see the flowers I ordered off the internet and what was actually delivered, super embarrassing. Also, when I tried to contact the company, I was on hold and then got disconnected, not surprised.
