Does not do returns. My wife bought a pair of shoes there, kept them in the same bag, found another pair of shoes at a different store and decided to return them for a store credit. They accused her of wearing them, she told them they had been in her car since she bought them. They then said even if she didn't wear them, someone had and they would not take them back. I loved shopping here when I was younger with my mom. I decided it was a good idea to apply for a job. I worked a couple of months and finally got tired of being watched and stalked on the cameras. Tammy, the manager, got upset at me because I couldn't work 31 hours one week. I am a college student going for something that needs a lot of time put into it and I simply couldn't work 31 hours! So she started scheduling me 10 hours a week. Later on I found out I was being watched on the cameras after every shift I worked. Creepy right? I do not recommend applying for a job here. If you want to shop, go ahead. Great shoes at great prices. Just not the best people to shop for. Very rude and disrespectful. read more

The manager at this store, Tammy, does not handle employee issues appropriately. She refused to speak to an employee after hiring her for one day. She avoided every phone call from the employee when the employee was trying to find out why she was not on the schedule after only training for one day. She used the excuse that she was not on the clock and could not talk to the employee about anything. The next day she used the excuse that she was the only person in the store and could not talk on the phone. When she FINALLY agreed to speak to the employee she said she was not putting her on the schedule because she watched the cameras and the employee was sitting and not working. This employee was my 17 year old daughter. I am the one who finally got her to speak with my daughter. When I called her the first time and told her we were trying to figure out what was going on because we were waiting to schedule appointments until she got her work schedule, she told me she was the only one at the store and couldn't be on the phone and she HUNG UP ON ME! I was completely shocked! I called her back and was told she would not speak to me because I was not her employee, that my daughter would have to speak with her. When I told her that's what she had been trying to do for 2 days, she finally agreed to speak to her. My daughter came home after working that one night, telling me she straightened shoes, dusted shelves and ran the cash register. She asked the girl training her if there was anything else she needed to be doing. She was told no. She worked for 5 hours. No break, so towards the end of the shift she said she did sit down for a minute because her feet were hurting and there was nothing to do. I CAN NOT believe the way this woman has handled this. I will be filing a formal complaint about the way she conducts and avoids business issues. We used to be regular shoppers at Becky's Shoes, but we will NEVER step back into this store. When asked when she could come by and pick up a check for the one day she worked, she was told to come after 1:30 when she was gone and someone else was working. I am just completely disgusted that a grown woman would treat a teenager that is trying to be responsible and earn her own money, this way. read more
