As a former long-time Hallmark employee (may Cilla's RIP), I am VERY picky about which locations I will even cross a threshold for. Amy's was one of those locations. I am very happy to say that this location changed in name only. The same helpful, personable and friendly staff are still employed at this store and are never short on warm welcomes when you walk through the doors. I have noted, since the change in ownership, this store seems to be packed with more items - which means you'll inevitably spend more time, and potentially more money. With that said, I never have trouble finding a gift for someone along with the cutest wrapping paper. The only downside to all that stuff - much of which is toddler-friendly - is that I have to drag my child kicking and screaming from the store. My little one would spend hours with the Squishmallows alone! They have literally everything - bath & body items, toys, puzzles and games, clothing and accessories, jewelry, glassware, religious gifts, stationary, sports gifts, home decor, college-logo items, branded gifts - you name it. They also have items in a range of prices depending on budget. The staff will offer very helpful recommendations or guide you to something you wouldn't have thought of if you're stuck for ideas. And of course they have limitless greeting card options and wrappings along with gift cards. The store looked quite bare and I honestly thought they may be in the process of closing. So today I went in for my 4 year old grandson's birthday for a card and paper. They had zero little boy grandson's birthday cards. A clerk even double checked to see if I missed it. The paper they had was with spiderman, Mario and one other that he has no interest in. I complained when I left how sad this store had gotten. They kept apologizing but that really doesn't help anything. From now on, I will be going to either the store in Great Bridge or over at Providence. I'm done giving them a chance and wasting time and gas

Knowing we couldn't go anywhere, we wanted to do something special in the house. I've never been able to find a place for balloons and somehow found this hidden gem. I wasn't sure about ordering online so I called and was helped immediately. All my questions were answered and was even provided suggestions. Before ordering they sent me pictures of the balloons blown up so I could see the colors. Very very helpful. Long story short, I wish I found them before I ordered the followers but they did a wonderful job on the balloons. They delivered on time with mask on (even though my dad forgot to put his on). After talking to her she explained they were just staring up although they had several years experience in the party planning business. Mrs. Futrell's professionalism and honesty was refreshing so I booked immediately over the phone. When I arrived in Virginia I must admit I was skeptical at first. But wow I was surprised!! Everything was absolutely amazing the kids had cotton candy, snow balls and popcorn.
