NOT FOR BUSINESS ANYMORE!! I started my business banking at BECU 11 years ago. Initially, I was thrilled with their service and their people but over the last few years their service has deteriorated tremendously. True, the pandemic has affected us all but I recently moved my business to Chase and they don't seem to have the same problems. A few examples: 1. If you call BECU customer service you are left on hold forever only to get a message telling you to send them an email. 2. If you send them an email you get a message telling you that they will address your matter in FIVE DAYS! I know from experience now that they mean it too. 3. I even sent a snail mail message to one of their executives several months ago and never got a reply. Maybe this kind of service is ok for personal accounts, but it does NOT work for businesses that cannot wait FIVE days. read more

Limited services and offerings. BECU is way overrated. Some companies get unfairly bad reputation however BECU gets unfairly good reputation. If one really thinks about what BECU offers or what it can do for you, it ranks very low. Don't even get me started about the services of this location. read more

On 6/16/2022, I went in to this branch in hopes that they would have a difficult to find banking service. I was greeted warmly and after finding out what I needed was directed to the manager. The manager was professional, interested and was able to perform the task needed. Although I have been a BECU member for years, I had been using Chase Bank. I am now moving my banking to BECU. This location gets my highest recommendation to anyone seeking excellence in banking. read more

I came in to do a balance transfer in a credit card, the girl who helped me was very nice. I found out she was also very incompetent. I explained I was here for the 0 balance transfer fee/interest card. She verified my address which was incorrect, I wrote down the new address. She then sent me away and said she will take care of everything. I followed up next day as I had no news. She said I was approved for XX amount and she fedex the card. Okay great... not great didn't get the card weeks later so I followed up. She did not update my address, she approved me for the wrong card and even the amount she gave me was incorrect. I have been working on this since 1/3. I still have not resolved the balance transfer done that I was still went to a bank that was not mine, the. I was told that was an errrornand went to the correct bank. The check was never revived I called back 2/15 to stop Pay the check. I am still waiting for my card to be refunded and I am paying on a balance that isn't mine. I really wish I had not walked into this bank as I sit here in the branch again. I have wasted so much time calling online chatting and sitting in the branch my blood pressure in up for sure!! read more

We are totally happy with our experiences at this branch. Nicholas is especially helpful. We have checking, savings, credit card, and line of credit products from here. We've always had great service and even though there can be a weight during busy times, we are completely happy. read more

I've been banking with BECU for 18 years, even though I've moved away for college, I'm still able to bank with the Credit Union Anytime ATM's and CU Member Share tellers! I just closed my bank account with one bank and opened up an account with BECU! Alejandra helped me, and thoroughly explained everything. She was extremely genuine, and sweet. She explained to me everything about the bank and genuinely seemed super excited, and happy to assist me. I am glad i did this decision, and look forward to banking with BECU. My dad and I went in to do one thing, attempted to print something off one of the terminals but the printer was broken and started beeping (it sounds like a fire alarm, by the way). Shar to the rescue... she offered to re-print our stuff and then helped us with several other items that came up randomly and completely unrelated. I'm sure it was slightly annoying that everytime she thought we were finished, something else popped into our heads but Shar took it in stride and was pleasant and effecient. 5 stars for Shar, thanks BECU! read more

I'm new to BECU and I was in the middle of transferring money and car shopping. I came in to deposit some money Friday July 19th at lunch. It was a little busy but I was greeted and assisted quickly by Tammy Nguyen. She confirmed that I could simply deposit my check from out of state and asked about my debit card which was not activated and I had not received. She quickly took care of it and printed me a new one and kindly showed me how to make check deposits. I had some questions about our car loan since we are complete newbies. Tammy was very helpful and patient with me and went through lots of options and possibilities to illustrate the process. Giving this a 5 star because, I'm not sure how better my experience could have been here. So I found out the first of July my local bank isn't local anymore. I liked them because they're located inside my local grocery. However, they changed names and ownership without so much as a notification. Since I like having my bank be a local outfit, it was time to switch. After some research, I found BECU has been around for ages, is very people focused, and there's a branch in Woodinville. The woman there was polite, greeted us with the standard "how may I help you?" etc. We got a brand new account up in about 20 mins with minimal fuss. She was able to easily answer any questions I had about banking, ATMs, etc. I also observed a few things at the branch that were fairly security minded which impressed me. First, they have these physical screen cover things so you can't just snoop at their screens when they're away. Second, the deposit box is built like a tank. You put your deposit slip in that thing and it sounds like you're raising a portcullis in there. It slowly closes with a satisfying clunk. All in all, hopefully the start of a beautiful relationship with my new bank. read more

I have used BECU for years and they have always been kind, attentive, and patient with my questions and concerns, as I saw demonstrated today in the Woodinville location. The employees have my gratitude and my apologies for the behavior of another customer I saw today. I stopped by the Woodinville location today to deposit some cash, and there was a very angry and unruly customer sitting with one of the employees on hand to assist. He was extremely rude, volatile, and hostile towards this young woman and she handled the situation with patience, grace, and kindness, even as he yelled at and belittled her before cursing and storming out. The manager, likewise, handled the situation with poise and compassion for her employees while trying to find a solution for the customer. Thank you for the service you provide, BECU. It is more appreciated than you know. read more

Honestly the worst customer service I have received at a BECU location. First, they never returned any calls from the BECU center when they tried to call about my paperwork and check I turned in for direct withdrawal to make my loan payment. After sitting on the phone for an hour, the manager never called me back to let me know if everything got squared away. They didn't let me know they lost my check and my automatic payment wasn't going to be processed. Thank God I checked online and noticed otherwise I would have been charged a late fee. Still, 2 months later, haven't heard back from the manager. No apologies or anything. I set up automatic withdrawal so I didn't have to go out of my way to find an ATM and deposit money and they can't bother to call back and let me know if my paperwork has gone through or not. Never again will I work with this branch. Not only was did guy who took my paperwork and not process it screw me over, the actual Manager has horrible Customer Service. So much for thinking BECU is all about their customers. I think not. read more

Recently joined BECU for business and personal accounts. Their processes and online services are streamlined and make it really easy to join up and then manage accounts online and through mobile banking. Huge plus: they've been very welcoming when I need to bring the puppy in from the car for sit-down services. read more

For staters when I opened my account they were really friendly n helpful n I didn't know they had so many ATMs I could use throughout the country with no charge. Easy in Easy out, that's what I am talking about. BECU makes it so easy to make deposits in their machines. Just stick in the money or checks, get your receipt and you are done! Nice location, inside ATM so you don't get wet. This location has workers too so you can open new accounts etc.... but you can't actually "bank" here. read more

What more can I say about BECU.....recently my son and I applied online for an auto loan pre-approval. When we finally found the vehicle, we got in touch with our local BECU office. We dealt with Tammy at the Woodinville office and she made everything quick and easy. As soon as we walked in, she invited us over to her station and already had various options and payments ready to go. Just had to pick which term and down payment option we wanted to go with. I have used several banks and credit unions over the years from large ones to small local ones and for rates, service and overall satisfaction, nothing comes close to BECU. Their rates are competitive on everything from mortgages to car loans to RV loans. I use almost any ATM without a concern. Their savings rates have a bonus program on the first $500 and have my son keeping his account with them as well with the early saver program. I highly recommend them to everyone! read more

Becu is like most banks. They make most of their profit from fees. Their profit goes into advertising and biggering and bettering. The have high interest rates for loans and even if you have excellent credit they won't increase the check credit limit because return check fees make them money. Then after they've made money, they turn off your services! Just who do they think pays for their biggering and bettering, the people who are trying to make ends meet. read more
