In general there appear to not be much rhyme or reason to the sizing. I couldn't fit a large in one pair of shorts, but tried a medium in another and they were too big. I would recommend trying on anything you plan to buy. The return policy is strict.

I gave the employee my address, however, she failed to enter it correctly. When I received the notification to my email and saw that the address was missing my apartment number, I immediately contacted customer service, but they took a week and a half to respond to me. They then told me it was too late to fix my address (obviously, because they took so long to respond) This whole situation was their fault. Their employee failed to enter in my information correctly. I gave her the correct address but she did not enter it. They knew that the package wasn't going to be delivered, not because of my mistake but because of their employee's ineptitude. And instead of actually owning the fact that this was THEIR problem, they brushed me off. They could have fixed the problem (by maybe resending the shoes I ordered to the correct address, since the ones I ordered are being sent back to them) But they chose to not fix anything. I don't know why I thought I should support this company. What awful customer service. I am incredibly disappointed.

The cashier told me I would have to pay full price for both shirts since they were not on sale even though I had my receipt, email, and the tag on the clothes. I have been in fishing clubs on and off for decades. Owned many boats, and currently fish at least once a week, year round. I've fished in multiple countries. Today, July 12, 2025. I visited the Ovris store in Huntsville for the first and last time. I was looking at fly rods and "the guy" working came up and asked did I need fly fishing lessons. I told him no and he said with a very condescending attitude, "those are Sage rods and you shouldn't be playing with them." First of all, I wasn't playing with it. I was inspecting it, just as I do all expensive fishing equipment I buy. Secondly, You don't speak to a grown man that way. I'm not a child! And, in the event there was a sign saying not to touch, it wasn't displayed well. I certainly didn't see one. I recommend shopping online and avoid this business. You'll probably save money anyway.

The petites section is smaller than some other stores I have been too but still a decent selection. As always aloft always runs excellent sales and I know to never buy anything from here that isn't marked down bc sales happen so frequently. We had been shopping all afternoon for a hoco dress…read more I had no idea the mall closes at 8 pm (that's crazy in itself) but we ran in and found a few dresses to try and found out the dressing room was closed (it is 7:45). I asked if we could hold the 3 dresses to try on and she said, "Not overnight." So I asked if my daughter could just run in and try them on then and she said that they were closing the dressing room at 7:45 bc "They have a lot to do." And that "if we hadn't come at 15 minutes until closing we could've tried them on." I said, "If I'd known that was a rule I would have." She said it's not a "rule, but she's the manager and has a lot to do." Kids these days. (I am going through menopause and probably sound like a 'Karen' right now, but just wait kids.) When a 20 something manager doesn't want to make a sale so she can leave early I just see it as laziness. I was putting the items back where they go and kind of to myself, but apparently too loud, I said, "I guess we'll have to get this somewhere else." To which she responded, "That's fine you do that." Something within me snapped. I mentioned to her that "yes, it would not bother you not to make a sale bc you don't own the store." She said,"I honestly couldn't care less. I don't own it, but I am the manager and I make the rules." Anyway, doubt I'll be back bc it was so embarrassing and pointless. She will be in my shoes one day. I owned my own store 14 years and if I'd had a manager who was more concerned about going home than about my customers needs and making sales she wouldn't work there long. This just was needless.
