I was desperately seeking Susan, not, instead bedding!! I came across Coma Inducer Bedding. I continued seearching other sites & bedding companies. I searched & searched. I reviews & made comparisons always returning to Coma Inducer. There's 100's of choices;) & beautiful colors!! I usually cannot afford 2 comforters but I went for it!. The faux fur in wolf grey looks & feels like the finest cashmere. Our dog immediately got up on the bed & didn't move. Lucy is always at her Paw's side. The 1st night she laid down with me for a few hours & now I find her sleeping in. These are well made insanely comfortable comforters! Truly heaven! The particular 1 I bought is called Wrinkly Rolls Chunky Bunny & feels like foxy faux fur!! The costs are incredible reasonable. BB&B was having a sale. We needed a secondary blanket & I purchased another called Purple Reign also velvety soft. I purchased a sheet set & cotton blankets. Both comforters are AhhMazing! I highly recommend BB&B & Coma Inducer. BB&B has a # of Comas & of course Coma Inducer has a huge website. My images will not do these comforters justice. Extremely disappointing experience. I received a desk with missing parts and was told it was "too late" to help -- even though I offered to pay for replacements. I also paid extra for second-floor delivery and assembly of a wardrobe that was never properly delivered, and then my order was canceled without my authorization. This store is a mess. Full stop. In every area, there were carts of things to be put onto shelves. There were customer carts that I am assuming were returns to be put away too. And there were tons of empty shelves. Product was everywhere but where it should be. Go to the lamp area. It's like they have claimed that section for their overstock. There are 6 lamps on display. But you can't get to them because the entire area. I mean like all 5 aisles. Is filled with stock that needs to be unboxed or shelved or something. I can't imagine what the back room looks like. We didn't count the carts of stuff they had to put away, but it was more than a dozen. And a ton of cases. Did your warehouse just dump everything on you the day before and not care if you could fit any of it? Was there no plan for staff to come in and put it away? Who is buying anything here right now since as a shopper you can't even get to anything. It's one thing to not have stuff because of supply chain issues. Or to not have staff because of staffing issues. But it's like there are two people trying to keep the store open in total. And for what I don't know. Since you have everything still in boxes or on carts to be put away. Take the time and put stuff on shelves. Close for a day or two and get ahead. We didn't buy anything because it was either out of stock or you couldn't get to it because of junk in the way. The amount of mess would stress me out if I had to go to that every day. So, shop online. You won't find it in this store anyway. read more

I don't think grocery shopping is the worst. I think bedding shopping is the worst. So I hadn't purchased pillows in a while. We needed new ones desperately. I thought that it only made sense to buy them from here. Only... I had no idea there were so many kinds to choose from. I ended up buying six: four "fresh and cool" ones ($20 a piece) and two generic cheapy ones ($9 a piece). I returned the next day because two of the "fresh and cool" ones had brown stains on them (gross, eh?). I exchanged them for more expensive options (channeling my father who always tells me, "you get what you pay for") made from "miracle bamboo". I returned the next day because the "miracle bamboo" ones smelled so foul that everything they touched stank afterwards. I exchanged them for more of the the generic cheapy ones. And now I'm satisfied. (Apparently I do not have very sophisticated taste in pillows.) The point? BBB is on the more expensive side. And BBB is SO full of goods to buy that their aisles are claustrophobically tiny (seriously, does anyone else have a difficult time navigating that store with a cart?). But who cares when they excel at customer service? Both times I returned the pillows, my exchanges/refunds were effortless (just make sure you have your receipt regardless of what you buy, otherwise they can only refund X-amount). The folks at customer service were patient and kind with me, and I couldn't have been more satisfied! read more

I placed an online order with a 20% coupon they had mailed to me, but at checkout, the coupon was invalid. I called customer service and they instructed me to place the order while I was on the phone and give them the order number. They promised they would refund the 20% onto my card. THEY LIED TO ME!!! They never intended to refund me, but now they have shipped the order. So, I have to travel over one hour to the nearest store and return the items for a full refund. Then I will immediately buy those items back, using the coupon in person. They can't refuse me then, without the police getting involved. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THESE LIARS AGAIN!!! read more

I used to love shopping at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I can get lost in the gadgets and decor for a long time. But this BBB is the worst managed store I have seen. There is constantly so much stuff piled in the aisles that it's almost impossible to wheel a cart through the store. And if there is a popular item, they will be out of it. In addition, I recently ordered a duvet cover online and paid an extra $9.99 to have it delivered the same day. Within a short time of ordering, I was sent an email from BBB cancelling my order without any explanation. I ordered something similar (but for 1/2 the cost) from Amazon instead. At 5:00 pm someone showed up at my door with the BBB duvet cover. I refused to accept delivery of it and explained that I had ordered one from somewhere else. This was two weeks ago and I have still not received a refund to my credit card. And today I got an email asking me to review the duvet cover I do not have, but have paid for. I had bought a shoe rack in the South Portland, Maine a couple weeks ago and when I got home and went to put it together it was defective. Living in Maine everything tends to be a distance away so I didn't get back their for about 2 weeks. By then I had misplaced my receipt but thought no problem because tags and everthing was their. In hindsight I should have called but again though I would be ok. Wrong thought, after dealing with I believe was the assistant manager because I had asked for a manager and she told me mike was gone for the day. We went back in forth over company return policy and I explain to her it was defective. I got no where with her and then I said since Christmas I have had nothing but problems with this store. Items ordered and not shipped, items shipped twice, a never ending battle with returns if u have a receipt. I came their to purchase a cuinart can opener but After being beat down over and over and getting no where and the so called assistant manager attitude I decided that Bed Bath and Beyond didn't deserve my loyal patronage and left. Not only will I not shop their any longer I intend to share the mistreatment with all family and co-workers. Some tips for the thrifty shopper: The coupons they send you do not expire, even if they have an expiration date. They will take the coupons MONTHS after the date. I've used some almost a year old! They will price match AND let you use your coupon after the match. So if you find that Keurig machine or Roomba vacuum on sale at Kohl's, bring in the ad and your 20% off coupon! I love this place for the two reasons above! The wall of kitchen goods can be intimidating, but I've always had excellent help from the employees. When you can ask, "Where's the magnets for your dishwasher so you know if the dishes are clean or dirty?" and be pointed to the SINGLE such magnet in the store... you have great employees. read more

I had a run in with them last year where I was trying to use two coupons on a Yankee Candle promotion. They proceeded to make a scene and completely humiliate me as people formed lines behind me. It would have been one thing to talk to one manager, but they felt it necessary to bring two managers and two sales associates into the conversation. They had extremely poor customer service, some of the worst I've seen. When I didn't purchase anything I went home and contacted the district manager Adam about their dreadful behavior, and he just continued to talk in circles and ask what I would like to have happen. His customer service was just as poor, hardly what you would expect from a district manager who should specialize in customer service. After feeling like the conversations were going no where, I ended communication and I have never shopped there again. I would never shop there in the future either and have told all my family and friends about it. I do not support businesses with such poor customer relations because there are far to many people without jobs and businesses struggling that have workers that would do anything to be helpful. like the other reviewer, i also called ahead to make sure they had what i wanted in stock and to ask them to hold it at the front for me. then i called back to double check the pricing and to ensure that they were holding it. when i arrived, they could not, for *loads* of effort, track down my items. so i went and fetched them myself, which was no major effort, but it definitely slowed down my afternoon. i've added a bonus star because they staff were very hush-hush and respectful about my potentially confidential needs (bug-proof pillow cases are no secret, tho!). generally: goods are over-priced here. get your hands on their coupons, which BB&B will gladly mail to you. they have 20% off and $5 off varieties- you can use one for each item and you can ignore the expiration dates. additionally: this store as tooooo much stuff. it's super over-filled, which makes it hard to find what you're looking for. also: the clearance racks tend to have lots of broken junk. i am all for getting more use out of broken stuff, but i don't think i should pay only slightly marked down prices for it. maybe BB&B should donate all this? read more
