When I found out that I had bed bugs it rocked my world. These pests are unbelievably aggressive. I went out and bought the top of the line bed bugs spray and for the next 2 weeks I played whack a mole. I killed a good many but didn't seem to be getting anywhere, besides an extraordinary amount of work along with the sleep deprivation took a toll on me. I'd stay up as long as I could before I fell asleep because I was afraid of being attacked. Anyone that says sleep is overrated never experienced bed bugs. I had family members that live out of state doing research and came across Robert and his method of extermination. I didn't think there was anything out there that could eradicate these beasts. I had purchased new furniture a few months before this started, I had to take my easy boy and put it on the porch because of the infestation. I thought I'd have to throw out all my furniture. We recently ran into a bed bug problem at a property. We called a "FL bed bug experts" company who charged 1.5/sqft for heat treatment service and an additional $35/month warranty/pest control agreement. All of that money spent and they refused to re-treat when their service did not work as promised. We ultimately believe that they were in a rush to get home on a Friday afternoon and cut our treatment time short (thus not killing everything). I was desperate to find a cost effective way to salvage this situation and am extremely grateful for Robert and his company. Not only was the price under half of the other service; but we were able to treat the property for the appropriate amount of time and not feel rushed. I highly suggest having them come on property and help with setup because they are pros at situating the equipment appropriately. Bedbugs are a truly traumatic situation and it was nice to work with a company who checked in and made sure everything was going right. This is a great business that solves the bedbug problem without any pesticides needed. The website explains the process. Its a matter of getting the room to the correct temperature range for the correct time so the heat can move into every crevice where a bedbug might be. It also kills the eggs. We are certain that there were no bugs alive of any type after this treatment. There was no damage from the heat. We did the DIY method and rented the equipment. We picked up at the location closest and had three fans on heater/fan, a bin of cables, and and IR Temperature sensor. It all fit in the trunk of a Dodge Challenger with the rear seats folded down. It was easy to set up and everything that was needed was in the kit. We used the oven receptacle for power and did three bedrooms and a living room one at a time. We picked it all up Monday afternoon and turned it all in Wednesday Morning. My husband Brian and I bought a camper, to which unfortunately had bed bugs in it. I tried the pesticides, bombs, powder, etc to which turns out to be a fail, and it cost us a fortune. I went to google and found Bed Bugs of Tampa. He was extremely nice, professional, and genuinely caring. We took our equipment clear back to winter Haven and set everything up. Left and decided to let it run all evening and night. When we returned in the morning we realized it still had not gotten up to temp. So we called him. He was so caring that he allowed us to keep it free of charge another day to try it again (after telling us what we need to do to change things) it worked! He cares about his customers. He wants you to be bed bug free! He has a one on one connection with his customers and that's what makes him the best around. I would recommend him to everyone! Bedroom had a small pod on the mattress---panic mode set in...Robert spent the time with me on his equipment to make sure I had the correct path!! While bedbugs can be an embarrassing issue to discuss, both Robert and Gerard went out of their way to treat us with professionalism and respect throughout the transaction. they both answered our questions patiently and thoroughly.
