My appointment with Mark Hansen, the physiotherapist, went very well. He was very gentle, very thorough and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and has great knowledge of your muscles. I have been to countless other health professionals (chiropractors, physiotherapists and massage therapists) in the past to deal with pain and tingling in my wrists and arms accompanied by tension in my shoulders, neck and back. I am finally feeling that I understand why my body feels pain and how different parts and systems in my body are interacting. I really appreciate the holistic, hands on approach taken by these practitioners. I am also so relieved to be treated one-on-one without any use of machines during my sessions. Both of the times we met for her to instal a new set of orthotics, she has been meticulous about making sure that they have been perfectly cut to size, and today she applied a stiffener layer to the toe-end sections of each one that improved installing and removing the orthotics from my shoes. She has also noted a couple of other foot-related issues and we have spoken about those, and her focus has never wavered. Now my spouse and I have been seeking alternative treatments across the city and we were recommended to this place by our friend. We liked Mike who specializes in osteopath treatment. He was excellent but we have our beef with the way this organization's front desk operate and how they conduct their business. I've seen some unhappy clients complaint about being charge on their credit card and were very upset with the front desk and I can't say exactly for what reason but later on, when I brought my mother for treatment, I was forced to fill in the form with my credit card number on it. That was a little much, because I did not have to do that when I came in earlier. But it told me something - and it made alot of sense as recently as last week when my wife left a message to cancel an appointment, they did not read the message and immediately charge to her credit card on the day that appointment was suppose to happen, without any prior warning!!. So I can understand now why that customer was unhappy with the front desk in one of my earlier visits as this has happened many times before (I presume) and has happen to us now. Look, its not like we're going to run away. We like Mike, so we'll come back. We constantly go for this sorts of treatment and money is not an issue for us, but to be treated this way only puts a bad taste and obviously sends the wrong message. We want to be good and loyal customers, but don't you think loyal customers should be treated better eh??
